Efficient & painless, We hauled 11 CRTs, & laptops as well as old printers, fax machines, external hard drives, miscellaneous electronics -Stereo, speakers, keyboards, telephones to them. It was quickly sorted. We were charged for the monitors and off we went.We trust their statement that they are fully licensed & insured and that all data is restored. We felt good after bringing our old stuff to Tech Dump and not sneaking it into the trash. I'm letting my neighbors and friends know! Thank you.

Had a very positive experience recycling our office electronics with Tech Dump. It was easy to schedule a pick-up, they arrived during the two-hour window that was scheduled, and they were FAST. Even though we had about three times as much stuff as we'd initially inventoried (enough to fill a whole cubicle), they made short work of it and filled their carts in no time. Tech Dump emailed me the Certificates of Destruction for our hard drives just a few hours later, and we got the invoice for the CODs and CRT monitors in less than a week. Very pleased that it was a stress-free process to get rid of all that clutter.

I've dropped off a bunch of stuff here - very convenient, nice people. I highly recommend them.

You can effectively get rid of electronics here. Just be prepared to deal with the rudest guy you've ever met. He will yell at you for just about any reason, especially if you don't back out precisely the way he wants you to. I won't be back if I can find another place.

Tech Dump provides a valuable service of destroying data (and certifying that it's been completed) from personal electronics. They provide excellent customer service and are a very efficient operation!

Great source to get rid of all the small electronic gadgets that no longer worked piling up around the house. Nice to know they wipe it clean and get jobs to those who need a second chance.

I had been putting off finding a place to recycle an old work printer and a bunch of printer cartridges. Most recycling places are in hard-to-find locations, have weird hours, and surly people. Tech dump unloaded my car and took care of everything in three minutes flat - so polite, so smooth, and very cheap. Also, the location is easy to find and has rock-star parking right at the loading dock door. I will never procrastinate on electronics recycling ever again!

I have been there 3 times since they opened and have always had a positive experience. The employees are always helpful, curteous and friendly. My last visit included bringing in a 21 Sony Trinitron TV that was very heavy. One of the workers carried it in for me without a hitch! You're in and out in no time. Highly recommend for electronic recycling.

I work for a large Minnesota company and was recently considering using Tech Dump for our electronic recycling needs after finding them ranked first on Google. While I was researching the company, I found an article in the Star Tribune (http://www.startribune.com/st-anthony-tech-dump-mines-treasure-jobs-from-electronic-junk/249091061/) stating that Tech Dump has made it a mission to employ felons and ex-offenders. While I do believe in second chances and even find it an admirable mission, when working with sensitive data there shouldn't be the potential for a security risk. The company says that it is safe and secure, while also stating "We have had a few bad apples here, who generally weed themselves out". This admission of past problems makes me uneasy when it comes to security and data destruction. I personally would not want to risk my position within my company or the companies security. Also, there are other companies that deliver a wider range of services and more importantly are R2 certified, which Tech Dump is not. You are probably reading reviews as I did when trying to find a new recycling vendor. I only write this as I think it is only fair that there be full disclosure to potential or current customers as there is a possible increased risk in security.
