Red Wing Brewery

Nice selection of beer. Guest taps, too. Cocktails also. The pizza was great. Spent grain crust. My wife got the Minnesota pickle ham cream cheese roll pizza. Surprisingly good: I had the Buffalo chicken pizza. Very good. Smallish seating area. Brewery visible from the dining area. We were served by the brewmaster himself.

After hiking up the bluff, we needed to feed ourselves and the kids. We ordered a large pizza and a couple of beers. The beers were excellent. Nothing like getting a beer from the source. The staff were quite nice as well, even though the place was super busy on a weekend afternoon.What was not good was the pizza. It was awful, truly terrible pizza. Too much cheese and not fully baked - the dough was undercooked in over half of it. It was shocking. So lesson learned - come here for the great beer, the friendly staff, and the nice atmosphere, just eat before you come.

This brewery has a real hometown feel. We were welcomed the minute we walked through the door and seated ourselves. We ordered pizza and got drinks. My husband had beer and I had a mixed drink. Both were very good. We noticed any vacated table immediately got cleaned off and readied for the next customer. It was well laid out with seating and we had plenty of room for the huge pizza and our drinks. The pizza was very good.

One of the only places I've found a legit snake bite outside of the UK! Wish they had more food options but it was good!

Great calm atmosphere and so nice to have a local spot in Red Wing like this brewery. Came in on a weekday after exploring the Barn Bluff, it was pretty quiet at the time. They have a pretty big pizza menu and had things like calzones if you're interested in a bite. The beer we both tried had a shot of something in it that I can't remember, something like black currant, mixed in. It was a nice addition and something I'd never tried before. 10/10 would recommend!

We'd arrived to Red Wing not an hour before, starting the move into our new house, and needed to celebrate our fresh start with some quality local pizza. We went with Red Wing Brewery based on online reviews and pictures. We were able to order right away and sat at a table right near the front of the restaurant. On that Thursday evening, much of their business was take-out, and we soon saw why--the food is freshly-made and that takes time. That was fine by us (though we know to call ahead next time!) as we enjoyed our drinks, chatted, and watched the street outside. My husband had a meat lovers pizza, my son had a custom cheese pizza, while I had the white pizza. They were all hot and tasty, and the cheesy garlic bread was delicious, too. Definitely a pizza place to order from again!

This is our favorite place to eat in Red Wing. The pizza is always wonderful, however, we will make a special trip down there. Next time they have the Wisconsin beer cheese pizza. Yum!

Gf pizza! Reg pizza great! So many beers on tap! Must visit! Such a laid back vibe in here. You walk in and share a table with people or sit at the bar! Meet new friends!

Spur of the moment road trip to Red Wing for an evening Barn Bluff hike with the kids and a late night snack at Red Wing Brewery. Incredible staff, delicious pizza and calzones and great beer make this brewery an obligatory stop when in Red Wing. The Hawaiian calzone is worth the trip alone. Can wait to have leftovers for breakfast.Did you know they employ a lot of local kids age 14 and up, and teach them how to run a business? Now that's cool!

I have been there a few times, and the service has always been polite and professional. You have any questions about the different beers they will help you to understand each one. The ancient beers are wonderful, full bodied and you can taste the craftmanship that has gone into making this exquisite taste from the past. On top of all this, you can order some of the best pizza. Each time i have gone there I have gotten the pizza of the month. I love the combinations the staff comes up with. If you want a taste of old and new Red Wing Minnesota at the same time, stop in here.
