This place is excellent. Great atmosphere. Nice service and excellent pizza. The Caesar salad was gourmet and delicious. I plan to return again and again.

Was traveling around Minneapolis back in April and tried Red Wagon Pizza Company for dinner one night after remembering that they had been on DDD. I remember watching the episode and thinking how delicious the pizzas looked, so, of course, I had to try for myself. At the time, I ordered the Carl The Cuban Pizza, described as a pizza with "12-hour citrus-Cuban pork, shaved ham, house cheese, dill pickles, & French's mayo." I'm not a mayo fan generally, but it hit the spot on this pizza. I actually enjoyed the pizza so much that when I returned home from Minneapolis, I still had a craving for it. Fortunately, I discovered that Red Wagon was available on one of my favorite food ordering sites, Goldbelly! So not only did I get to order another Carl The Cuban Pizza to enjoy at home, but I got to throw in a Red Wagon Pizza ("Red sauce, sopressata, banana peppers, cheese, sausage, chili flakes, garlic salt, & fig balsamic") as well... all coming straight to my home. Huzzah!Back to the Minneapolis spot though. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience was pretty much perfect from start to finish. Pizza was perfectly cooked, and the place had an inviting, friendly ambience - a great fit as the neighborhood pizza place. Not to be missed.

We met up with a group of friends (8 of us total) on Wednesday evening. I mention the timing because each of us showed up thinking the others had made a reservation, so we were a bit worried about our group size being annoying for the staff. They didn't seem bothered at all, in fact, & were able to seat us right away by pushing a few tables together. Our servers were excellent, too. I had a drink with egg whites on top that ended up sliding down the outside of the cup, & the server came over to wipe it off for me, which was so unexpected & kind. To the food, we had:--Half Olive Oyl/half Banh Mi pizza: first off, it's super cool that you can do halvsies on a specialty pizza! You can't even do that with a lot of chain spots' standard pizzas. I had the Olive Oyl & my husband had the banh mi; both were really good & I loved the variety of toppings on them. It made me really want to try their simpler pizzas to see how they compare. --Caesar salad: the soft boiled egg was a nice touch. I love the crunch of the lettuce & the salad dressing & toppings were really good. It's also a very large sized salad & could probably be a meal or be shared by more than 2 people, depending on how hungry you are. My 1 & single complaint is that it was freezing inside. We thought it was going to rain, so we chose not to sit on the patio, but the AC was cranked lol. Probably nice on a hotter day I sup

This pizza place feels like you are walking into someone's home. There was someone at the door to open it and welcome me, a warm atmosphere with live music and the friendliest staff. We sat in the back room and ordered two split pizzas. One with double pepp and just pepperoni. The other was the McLovin it and The Popeye. For a traditional, I loved the double pepp. It had the crispy cup pepperoni and was so good. My least favorite was the McLovin I t. I didn't McLove it, sadly. It had decent flavor, it was just dry. It needed more sauce. Towards the end of our meal, a young man that worked there was going over the dessert menu. He was so friendly and funny. This was just short of a 5 for me because of the one pizza. I would definitely return!

We popped into Red Wagon at an off time and had a great experience. They have a beautiful dining area and plenty of outdoor space too. Since we were pretty much the only diners inside, we had great service and we absolutely loved the 2 super unique pizzas we tried- Bahn Mi and Cuban. The prices are pretty hefty so we won't be here every day, but it'll be in the slightly-fancy rotation for sure.

It took us far too long to get back up here again....A repeat visit to Red Wagon Pizza Company for us last weekend and to top it off we finally got a chance to meet and talk to Peter Campbell the owner. We took advantage of the outside seating on the patio area..a tree growing up in the center of a table is a very cool touch. I ordered the Carl The Cuban Pizza and the Mrs ordered the sausage pizza...we split an order of the melt in your mouth delicious meatballs to start off with. The Carl the Cuban pizza is named in honor of Carl Ruiz aka Carl the Cuban, who passed away much too soon (God must've been looking for a hilarious guy that could cook up some awesome food). We first ordered the Carl pizza online during the covid deal...it's freakin awesome!!!!Peter was gracious with his time and it was great to get a chance to say Hello.Watch for him on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives...Guy's Grocery Games...and soon on TripleD Nation!!!

I was so excited to spend my birthday at the Red Wagon pizza company. The meatball app was phenomenal. Perfect balance of spice, savory flavor with red sauce finish, paired with the Pavette cab we were off to a great start. I would order them again for sure. Both of their salad options were bomb. The PCO was way over cooked. Charred black crust all around the pie. They offered to re fire another but I wasn't interested in making them try again. I wasn't very impressed with the combo of flavors. Something seemed off. It might have been due to it being over cooked. Not sure. The other pies were done perfectly. We had a margharita and olive oil pizza as well. They were cooked to perfection and everyone enjoyed them very much. The olive oil was a Light crispy crust with an amazing combination of their blended cheese with mushroom artichoke and castlevetrano olive topping. Wow that one was good. Service wasn't great, although they were busy. I waited too long for a greeting and a first drink. Felt lucky to have Billy Boy playing live music, he was fantastic. For desert I had the Annie Banannie, a banana cream pie in a cup. It was not too sweet very satisfying. Will try again sometime.

Really disappointing visit. We've spent countless hours here as a family and on work dinners, and will not be returning anytime soon. My 9 y/o and I stopped in for lunch, and there was only 1 other person in the restaurant. The kitchen would not accommodate our request for a cheese pizza with half sausage. All they had to do was stop sprinkling the sausage on the pizza halfway. We could have ordered 2 smaller pizzas(which I now realize would have been cheaper on the happy hour menu, sans drinks), but this just seemed silly and odd given no one else was there. Our server was great, but all else was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend going if you have any special requests such as the above.

Came back here for the first time in awhile and it's as good as I remember. Elite Caesar Salad and the Red Wagon Pizza always is on point. Tried the Meat Lasagna for the first time and it won't be the last time I order it!

We went on Saturday afternoon and they were very busy. The service was solid but you could tell we were an extra party of 4 they didn't really want at the time. The pizza is underwhelming. My crust was burnt. My partner's crust was doughy. The only positive thing I can say is that there is a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant, which was convenient. I wouldn't return or recommend this place to others.
