Not at all what I expected when driving up. Driving along Hwy 8 and in need of lunch, decided to swing into Pure-N-Simple. It looks like a store and I assumed would only have snacks or, at the most, maybe some deli sandwiches. They have burgers, soup, desserts, way more than sandwiches. I was intrigued by the Patty Melt and some broccoli cheese soup. Both were very good. I wish I would have had more room or hsd the ability to transport one of the cold pies, as the Butterfinger Pie looked out of this world. I guess I'll just have to stop back again some time. They also have some gifts, like a general store.

Delicious homemade food. Stopped for lunch--- each had a different soup and both were wonderful. Also had a Rueben with fries and a chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat. Reasonable prices for high quality product.

The Bakery is amazing. Great pies and baked goods from scratch. The restaurant food's also fantastic with high quality scratch made as well. For example the BBQ and buffalo sauces are scratch but more importantly delicious. Not a huge menu but I can count on what they do offer will be great. It's unusual I don't stop here when in the area.

"I really don't think I need buns of steel. I'd be happy with buns of cinnamon." (Ellen DeGeneres)Pure-n-Simple is near my family's cabin, and with a crew that can run up to 20+ people, it's handy to have close access to kitchen staples like milk, specialty breads, Amish rolled butter, and tasty pies. Yes, pies are a staple!! Fruit pies! Snickers and Oreo pies! Pistachio! Cheesecakes! YOU get a pie! And YOU get a pie! EVERYONE gets a pie! When you've finished stuffing your pie hole, tame that sugar high with hearty sandwiches, grass-fed Angus burgers, soups, and salads from the restaurant. The breakfast cutoff is enforced at 11am, so arrive early to wakey, wakey with free-range eggs and bakey! Before you leave, grab some delicious donuts, cookies, muffins, or almond morning buns on the run, but don't share them with the furry and feathered friends in the petting zoo. There are $1 food cups for them instead. With so much to see and eat here, I'll keep it simple. It's a pure joy to visit this store--I give it 4.8 Turneresque shout-outs of, "Simply the best!"

Located near my family cabin, we never miss an opportunity to stop at Pure N Simple. More than a dining space, this spot has an outdoor petting zoo, interior store full of baking ingredients, a few clothes, a recently added baby section with onesies, toys, etc., cookie dough in the freezer to take-and-bake along with a smaller section of refrigerated items such as milk, cheese, and meats. The actual restaurant serves hot and fresh made to order meals at the check out counter. Once ordered, a server will bring the meal(s) to your table. Don't slip on the cookies! Any cookie with frosting is to DIE for - best cookies I have had and they have every selection of pie one could dream up. I couldn't say enough positive comments about Pure N Simple. I suggest stopping if you are in the area!

I almost don't want to give Pure N Simple a great review, simply because I don't want to see the place overwhelmed with people. We stopped here on our return home from a recent outing and were very impressed with the food; less so with some of the service. We ordered cheese curds, an Italian sub sandwich, a bowl of Southwest Soup, and a slice of turtle cheesecake. It was all amazing. The curds were some of the freshest I've had in the state. They were spot-on! The sub was similar to what you'd get at Jersey Mike's - plenty of meat, red wine vinegar, and what appeared to be homemade bread. The soup was excellent, with some slight spice. The cheesecake was delicious - decadent and filling. There were many other baked goods that I wish I could have tried. Their morning rolls look amazing, as does their puff pastry and muffins. They have a variety of homemade pies that look tasty. We brought home a loaf of cranberry wild rice artisan bread. It was delicious as well.If you have children, they'll enjoy the petting zoo, which is located near the store during the summer months. There was the sweetest donkey with a baby donkey, some goats, and a pig.My only recommendation is that some of the younger staff could use some training in hospitality, looking at the customer, smiling, and treating the customer as if they are happy to be serving them. One young man who served us didn't seem to be enjoying his job or serving others. There was no "thank you" or appreciativeness in his service. That would be the only drawback. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend Pure N Simple. It was a pleasant surprise after many bad dining experiences elsewhere. They also have a large retail section where they sell bulk items (sugar, flour) and other items including meats, candy, tourist items, etc.

Great. One of my favorite stops. Something for everyone to see, do, and eat. Friday fish fry and Sunday chicken dinner are my favorite. It's also tough to pass the bakery case. The almond morning buns are amazing! You have to get there early to get one, most days because they sell out so fast!

Cute retail and maker space in the front. Yummy cheese curds and a STACKED dessert fridge in the back. Goats and peacocks in the parking lot. A fun little stop for us!

We arrived at 3:30 pm and only one other couple was eating yet it was difficult for us to find a clean table. We didn't receive the water we asked for with our meal. The French Silk pie tasted old. It was not fluffy. The bathrooms were also dirty with garbage flowing on to the floor. I don't think we will stop again.

We have eaten here before and this may be our last time. Wait staff was very confused and we had to ask for things they forgot with our order. We had a basket with condiments and silverware,( knives and mustard) and had to ask for ketchup and spoons and forks. Staff member brought this to us but put the blame on morning staff saying it was their job. We opted to eat outside and the dining experience was ruined by a couple smokers less than 20 feet from the front entrance. ( yes, this is a Wisconsin law). we brought this to staff's attention and it said that it was OK to smoke there.
