Prime Rate Inn

The hotel had a weird order when walking in. The room was clean, but needed some remodeling and updating. The hallway was creepy and not very well lit. The pool had garbage floating in it. The beds are super hard and uncomfortable.

I'm giving this a 3 instead of a two because the front staff are EXCELLENT. Friendly and helpful.We stayed here because when we booked the hotel through a third party site, we got tickets and drink bands to Valleyfaire. Hotel has a laundry room. People seemed to be enjoying the indoor poor and whirlpool. There are donuts and coffee in the morningThe room does have a microwave and a fridge, which is good. The TV was huge. There was a recliner in the room instead of a regular chair which was good for my husband who had a chest cold. However, the two big issues were the room being damp....clearly a hotel wide issue as there were dehumidifiers in hallways. So the room had the musty smell that comes with a constantly damp space. The bigger issue is that the sheets and comforter had not been changed....as evidenced by the "evidence" on both.Finally I got the impression that some of the people at the hotel stayed there longer than for a short hotel stay.

Newly renovated with large wall mounted TV's (DirecTV service) and minimal hallway noise makes it into The room. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable on the local area.

NO NO NO!!!This place is just wrong.Beds are probably from the 50's and if they're not, they feel like they are.Had the misfortune of bumping into the mattress and seeing the boxspring. G-R-O-S-S!!Stale doughnuts for breakfast?No milk in the coffee area? (You have to buy it from the vending machine.)We were kept up half the night by folks in the next room talking/partying LOUDLY.Found a previous guest's garbage on the floor when we arrived in our room.No blow dryer.Sub-standard bath towels that felt like sand paper.Grimy feeling to in-room furniture.The place needs an immediate overhaul or a health department inspection.Next time we're staying in a refrigerator box as an upgrade.

Stopped here when the hotel where we had a reservation for was overbooked and I'm glad we did!! Very clean rooms and pool! Friendly, quick service even at 2am. Not a fancy continental breakfast (just donuts and coffee) but for the low rate and the cleanliness, I'm not complaining. We were just passing through but ironically when we arrived at our destination, we were disappointed at at that hotel's service and cleanliness because we stayed here the night before.

I mean you get what you pay for. Smells a little funky, breakfast is pre packaged sweet pastries like honey buns, and the shampoo smells like rubbing alcohol. Good for a one night stop, wouldn't want to spend any more time there. Bring your own shampoo if you care about your hair. There is a holiday gas station within walking distance if you need snacks.

If you're thinking about booking this, don't. Smelled terrible when you walked in the door, the air conditioner unit in the room was broken, towels were dirty and moist let alone they only had 1 towel in the room, the bathroom door looked like it was kicked in and had a chunk missing from the side. And looked like people were doing drugs everywhere. The parking lot was full of trash and beer cans everywhere. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Absolutely disgusting.

I stayed here in the past and had a okat stay. The room was just average. The overnight employee couldnt get our tv to work which was frustrating. No compensation given. I could have been okay with that. I was staying there wity my father which needless to say had plenty of its own downfalls. Today I was going to give the hotel another try but upon check in I was informed I was not allowed to stay here. Being completly confused by this comment from the hotel employee i asked them to explain why. They told me that it was because I had left my father there in the lobby for hours..... im prerry sure my 75 year old father is a grown adult. That day we were checking out my father and I were having an arguement. Neither of us have our own vehicle and i can assure you my father has more cash on hand than I do, and is not incapeable of taking a cab. I did return to the hotel later that night with a friend and picked him up as he was being stubborn and demanding me to do so, but how is this grounds to blacklist someones name from being allowed to stay at the hotel? I use to be the AGM for a Sheraton Property. We certainly wouldnt have made a ludacris decision like that. We had people in our lobby all night quite frequently. It was an airport property but come on now. I could understand MAYBE if he was causing problems but really not even as he is a grown adult responcible for himself. He isnt a vunerable adult. He isnt under my care. Absolutly horrible customer service and i find this to be quite discriminating!

Would be negative five if possible. Booked thru expedite. Absolutely nothing like the pictures. Gameroom was 2 broken video games, hallway reeked of pot, had a smoking room so did not expect perfection but burn marks all over tub, dirt in tub, sink was gross, dresser drawers fell out of dresser, microwave was nasty, bedspread had the burn hole cut out and no repair, party of at least 15 non-English speaking people drinking and more showing up the few hours I was there and my car was there. Locked but not safe, pool was over choranated, kids not following rules getting in my grandsons face, hot tub had human feces in it. Bed was a cement block. I was afraid to pull the comforter back. Towels were stained and dirty. I went to front desk and turned on key cards told the woman I was sorry but couldn't stay there and let her know at least 4 times I was very uncomfortable and felt unsafe. Was offered a different room but said no thanks, then she basically blamed it on me and pretty much called my grandson a liar. I contacted the third party I booked thru which is well known and got no help. So I'm out $100. Tried to contact hotel thru their own website to try to resolve and got sent to a porn site. Its a exteded stayfor homeless people who made me feel scared. There is no way we could have stayed there. Went 5 minutes down the road and got a nice clean room, quiet, pool, and breakfast and it was cheaper. I would have been happy with $50 back. Instead im posting reviews, contacting the BBB and doing anything i can to make sure people arent scammed like i was.i would attach photos but cant figure it out.​

there's burn marks all k er the bathroom and tub. the pool was alright but not super clean but the hot tub had algae on bottom and looked dirty and wayyy too much chlorine and for a nonsmoking hotel that's literally all you smell in the hallways cigarette and weed very potent and if that's not enough there's been a couple creepers that we're staring at my minor daughters so now I'm carrying a knife just in case. the checkin lady was pleasant but I wish we would've looked at reviews first and chose a better one. it's ok for a night but definitely will never come back
