Every year we take time to go see Poor Richards. He's got something for everyone. Tons of stuff and now coffee too!!! I always leave with something I don't need lol. Richard is very knowledgeable.

Neat place, with LOTS of stuff. Fun to look, but we didn't buy much, because the prices are high, and they don't negotiate much. Per the previous post, there are some unique and interesting items, which would warrant premium prices. But, there are also many common items that are priced higher. (I.e., minnow buckets. They have dozens-maybe hundreds of them, all $35 each. These are the same buckets I find in other areas for $12-$20. Same is true with enamelware, and most of their other items,). The areas/buildings are packed, and it is apparent by the dirt and condition of the price tags that a lot of items have been here for a long time. They might sell if the prices are more reasonable. That said, it is still a fun place to stop. We bought one unusual piece--but paid top dollar, and just a couple of small items.

This is my favorite antique store! It's HUGE! Richard is constantly bringing new stuff in I think pretty much every day so everything in there is constantly changing. If you see something you like I wouldn't hesitate to grab it because it'll be gone the next time you go. Prices are decent. This is not like a antique store you'll find in town that has way overpriced items. Some of the stuff isn't worth much and sometimes you have to pick through a lot to find a diamond in the rough but it's definitely worth check out. They have everything from boats to old bar signs to children's toys to milkshake glasses to old hunting bows. They have everything! I've bought a lot of things from here over the past few years. This is definitely the best antique store in the area and definitely with the cheapest prices and most selection.

I really like this place and have found several great pieces. Owner could negotiate a little better I think, and open Sundays would help!
