Had a chance to check out Plush in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, for brunch, and this spot definitely delivered an ultimate vibe! The decor inside was on point, and the staff were friendly, adding to the experience.The shared parking lot is a decent size, which is convenient, but it can get challenging when the other businesses in the area are busy.A friend and I tried the bottomless mimosas at $25/person, which felt a bit overpriced, especially since my glass hit the bottom a couple of times. Definitely something to consider if you're debating the value.For food, I had: * Lamb chops - seasoned to perfection, though the portion size was small. * Mac & cheese - rich and savory with a great cheese pull. * Greens - they were so good they reminded me of how my grandmother makes them! * Cornbread - sweet and tasty, the perfect addition to the meal.The R&B playing in the background really set the mood and added to the ambiance. However, while the food and vibe were great, spending $70+ on brunch feels steep in today's economy. It's also important to note that they automatically include gratuity in your bill, so be aware of that when you're planning your visit.Overall, a great spot for a one-time experience, but not one I'd visit often at that price point.

Plush Lounge is conveniently located off 252 and 85th. It was located next to a lot of restaurants and gas stations. A friend and I went on a Thursday night when it wasn't too busy. Ambiance 5/5 Very beautiful decor with Purple lighting, beautiful chandeliers with a clean bathroom. It's an intimate space with nice table and booth high top seating. Cute centerpiece and dimly lit spot with big screens and DJ was playin all the hit from Tevin Campbell to Keyshia Cole. Service 3/5 The server was friendly, prompt and helpful with the drinks. The major draw back, they're were a small group of people in the place but our food took over 30 minutes to arrive the chef did bring us some patties as an apology but I think they forgot about us. We appreciate him tryin to make up for it. Food 5/5 The food was and worth the wait!!! It was a long wait Chile. Salmon was succulent andy friend said her chicken was perfection!!! Drinks were cute and just enough liquor..not too strong. They did have a lot of salmon options so maybe diversify door selections but I've never heard a bad review about the spot. It was fire and I'd be back. Overall 4/5 Food was , drinks and music was on point however the service for the food was very slow. I'd return on a weekday. I couldn't take the weekend with all them folk in such an intimate space..it's a beautiful space tho!

Very nice looking place! The food was just okay. Something to eat. Ordered the wings, which should have been safe, yet I was underwhelmed. We also ordered the fried salmon bites, the sauce that came with this was DELISH! The service, well I kinda felt pressured as we were the only other party of two, so the ladies kept coming to our table asking what we wanted. At first I thought they were being attentive, but then it just felt like hurry up and order drinks and food! I won't base my decision on this experience, so I may return and try something els

I have come into Plus at about 11 at night it do not be that many folks in there but I must say the owners are friendly and the waiters are very attentive. The drinks pretty good also.

Plush is located in a strip mall so parking is hit or miss. Luckily, I found parking right out front but otherwise you may have to park a ways down. We arrived on a Friday at 6PM and found a spot for 4 people. We ordered a few drinks, which were super cute and fun but were not at all worth the wait or the price. Onto the meal, we ordered chicken wings with fries which were not great. I think if they would've come out fresh our experience might've been different. They were soggy but had great flavor. The fries weren't anything special. The catfish was fried to perfection! Seasoned so well! I'd say this was the best thing we ate all evening. The dirty rice lacked flavor and was undercooked. The macaroni and cheese was oily and not fresh. Other items that were pretty good: mashed potatoes and broccoli (not pictured). We ran into an issue when we had another friend trying to join and after 8PM they have a dress code. Which isn't an issues; but the issue the dress code is not listed anywhere so it's difficult to follow it with no information. Unfortunately; we had to pay and leave since she wasn't able to join. Our server was a bit frazzled but I think she was doing her best. There was a discrepancy in the menu pricing, which noted you'd get 4 catfish fillets for $25 but they only brought us 3 catfish strips. After talking with our server she let us know they made a slight change and the manager agreed to accommodate the mistake. This is a new up and coming establish so I know there will be kinks to work out! But they have a LOT of work to do. I'll give them a little time to settle and will give them another try. The space is pretty, but very small and tight.

They said it was a family friendly atmosphere, but it's more like a club/bar. Very over priced for food that does not appear to be freshly made with fresh ingredients. We wanted to try the $25 salmon croquettes that included two thick looking patties, eggs, a small portion of discolored looking grits, (mines looked greenish), and a biscuit that looked like it was from out the can from the grocery store. The silverware was dirty, with someone else's food still stuck on it. Gross! I showed her, she gave me new silverware and stood there as I unwrapped it, just to see it was dirty with dried food on there. I handed it back and she had an attitude, then said she wasn't the one who took our order. lol needless to say we WILL NOT be returning. I offered to just pay for my $15 strawberry Hennessy that tasted like some watered down strawberry juice. They had no shame and no care over the presentation of the plates the brought us for $25 each!

The Real Housewives Of Minneapolis Book Club (R.H.O.M.) had a Ladies "White Out" Night out. We had an Amazing time at Plush. The atmosphere, music, food and drinks were Outstanding! The staff was friendly and accommodating.Support Black Businesses.

Hands-down, One of the best soul food spots and lounge around!! The food was just delicious everything came out great!! Their cocktails is also really good! The vibe was great and the place, just looks amazing inside My waiter was on point on and is really helpful with anything that you need!! Must try!!!

The atmosphere was great, very good vibe! The food 8/10 I ordered the southern fried chicken meal, with baked Mac and cheese with candied yams and cornbread. First, we were a party of 9. We each received our food 2 dishes at a time, with 10-15 min gaps between each dish. My dish I didn't get the cornbread instead I got hard garlic bread. Second, my friend ordered the same thing and never received her food the entire 2hours we were there. I spoke with the Manager and she was wonderful. Please be advised that this is a new establishment so the employees are still "learning the ropes". The food definitely is WORTH COMING BACK!The drinks were small but mighty!! Now the SERVICE was horrible!! Our server wasn't attentive, we constantly had to call her to bring us simple things such as napkins and silverware! When our appetizer came out we didn't receive napkins or plates. After speaking with the manager the server came over to "confront" us about speaking with the manager and justified her actions saying she had something important to do that the manager told her to do. it took so long to get Togo boxes and our checks. When cashing me out she brought exact changed and had an attitude when I asked for change so that I could tip her, she refused it and said, "just keep it ".OVERALL A GREAT PLACE AND A VERY CHILL VIBE! 8/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
