Peterson's Farm Home & Garden

Peterson's in North Branch has been around for a many years and has gone through several remodels and updates to better serve customers. It's a great place to shop whether you are looking for a gift, need work clothes or boots, picking up farm and garden supplies or feed as well as a great selection of grills and accessories for your back yard BBQ. They also carry a large selection of bird houses, feeders and other accessories. Check it out sometime just north of Central Park downtown.

I LOVE Peterson's. They are the local place for all my pet and farm needs; featuring a wide selection of dog foods, training treats, treat bags, collars and halter-type collars (Halti and Gentle Leader), leashes, toys, and chewable stuff. As a dog trainer, I love having a local store I can recommend to people who need supplies for class -- yes the prices are a bit higher than you'd find at a "Big Box" store, but on the other hand you don't have to expend fuel to get down to the closest of these in places like St Paul and Coon Rapids. Staff are friendly and helpful -- I never have to carry 50# bags of horse feed or chicken feed or big salt blocks out to my truck -- and they know where everything is located in the store. Plus, in the springtime they have everything you could ever think of for starting your flower or vegetable garden.Can't say enough good stuff about this place -- they are awesome!

More than once I've found the "younger" weekend staff have little to "0" personality What's up with the North Branch younger generation..seems they come out of the basement assuming they don't need a personality to work in customer service ...I give a 2 star for home and garden staples .. gift store is out of the world

We stop here several times a month for dog food & treats but also lawn care and work wear needs. Glad we have this business in town! Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Pricey gift section but when it comes to farming and livestock and getting rid of pests, these people know their stuff. Really nice to get chicken or horse or other feed and water softener salt there bc they always bring it out and load it for you. Great place to order chicks if you're into that. Nice people. Cool and unique gifts but again the gifts can be pricey.
