People's Cafe

Stopped by for a late breakfast on our way back to the Twin Cities. Non assuming smaller town cafe that serves breakfast all day. The hit was the French toast. Pancakes were good too but seriously huge. Very friendly and quick service- the place was packed and we got one of the last available tables.

Best in town, loved the special, open faced roast beef with all the trimmings. Old school cafe, so much pride in keeping things just how it should be for families. One of Tom's favorites, great pie too!

Wow what an amazing place to have breakfast! My friend and I stopped here on our way home from Princeton and the breakfast we had was so delicious. Great service too - hot coffee right away. My friend wanted honey with her coffee and they had it! Since I enjoy a nice home town cafe I'm so glad I discovered this place near me. Wonderful atmosphere and great service.

We got here around 11:30 on a Saturday and all the tables were full and there were several people in front of us. It was clean and fairly quiet for as many people as there were. As we were being seated I commented on how busy they were. The person clearing the table said they had huge pancakes and really good omelettes. Our waitress was very good and helpful. As soon as she told me the special I knew that's what I wanted (which was an omelette with asparagus, havarti cheese and kielbasa). My husband ordered the eggs Benedict. The hash browns were perfectly cooked crispy on the outside tender in the middle. My omelette was delicious, the cheese was melted nicely with asparagus that wasn't overcooked. There was a bit more kielbasa than I wanted but my husband ate the extra. We noticed the dessert menu and I suggested he order an ice cream and I would get a pie. I got the blueberry cream pie which was good but he ordered the rum cherry ice cream which was fantastic. There were cherry halves in it and it had such a great flavor. This restaurant had kind of a nostalgic feeling like a place I might have gone as a kid. We really enjoyed it and it's in an area we go to quite a bit so we'll be back.

I am not sure that any of there meals are home made. I think it comes frozen in a bag and they just heat it up. I have not had a good fresh hot meal there yet

Classic American cafe. We were here for breakfast. I had meat & cheese omelet - yum. My husband had pancake, eggs, sausage& bacon also good, ( I liked my omelet better). It was busy on Monday morning and the two servers were running off their feet, so service was a bit slow. The servers were great, cheerful and working hard, just too many tables, hence 4* vs 5*.

We stopped for breakfast on our way through and had excellent food and service. Very reasonable prices and a great variety on the menu. I had eggs benedict and it was one of the best I've had, and I've tried lots.

WE stopped to try out the food. Its a small little cafe in town that has a small old feeling to it. We love hole in the wall type cafes for a quick sit down meal. WE got large portions, and tastey food. WE got there in time before they closed up. but they didn't disappoint. i look forward to trying their breakfast menu. After seeing some of the other plates. they look amazing and delicious. Best fries around the areas. Very polite and friendly staff. and best if when a waitress knows their customers by name and asks if they want the usual. typically it says a lot about about the staff and their length of time too. We will be back again!

The food is always so delicious. It's the best home-cooking type food in Isanti County. It's always busy, sometimes you are standing and waiting for a spot to eat. (there isn't a real "waiting area"). But the service is friendly and the service is usually pretty fast.

This place is awesome!! Good old fashioned home cooked meals!! Their hot beef sandwich is my Favorite, huge amount! Everything my wife and I had tried when we have been there was very good! We usually go there once or twice a month!! Love this place!!
