Well, what a terrible experience today. I've been to the establishment twice before for bloody Mary's and had a great time and the bloody Mary's we're fantastic. However, today was a complete disaster from the moment we walked in the door. This was all based on our waitress. Not sure if she's quite all there. So rude it's hard to explain. I asked for my burger medium rare and she laughed in my face. Said we do them red and then it came well done. No lettuce, onion or tomato. Just a dry burger on a bun. I then asked for mayonnaise, and she laughed in my face again. She huffed off and brought me a little container of mayonnaise with no utensils. We ordered our drinks and we had to go up to the bar to ask her for them. She brought my son's soda to the wrong table. We had to ask for water three times, and again she laughed in our face and huffed off. The most serious part is, my son has a life-threatening, severe peanut allergy. He does an excellent job asking wait staff about peanut oil. He very politely asked the waitress, "What type of oil do you cook your french fries in?" The first two times he asked her she just smiled at him and turned around and walked away. When she brought the food, he asked her again and she said we use the regular kind of oil and it's illegal for restaurants to use peanut oil. My son told her that's not true and restaurants frequently use peanut oil and to please go back and look at the container. Her response was we don't know what kind of oil it is.Don't go.

Patti's on 70 knows how to treat their customers. With a complete bar, including several craft brews, you will find this establishment a fun place to visit. Their meals are also excellent, with Patti slinging the hash on many occasions. They have several TVs available for Packers and Brewers action so stop on by and catch your favorite Wisconsin team in action. Located right off State Highway 70 and the Tuscobia State Trail, Patti's is easy to get to and supports trail users, visitors and locals alike.

The most famous person to ever come out of this small town of Winter, WI is an astronaut named Jeffrey Williams. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_Williams_%28astronaut%29 A close second is Patti from Patti's on 70. This woman absolutely made our stop in! One of the nicest business owners I've ever met. Funny, generous with a pour, and treats everyone who walks in her doors as if they were family. The bar is waaaaaay up north in Wisconsin and grub and beer-wise kinda fits the bill of what you'd expect. Deep fried foods, super cheap booze, and a Friday fish fry that most places in the North Woods are known for. Definitely comfort food but it totally hits the spot if you're fishing all day or floating the river. The crowd is very local, but definitely gets a good mix of tourists that come through for hunting season. If you're from any sort of a city and stop in to this place, and prepare for some awesome people watching. If you end up drinking to much with some townies (which is very possible the way Patti pours) they have 2 motel rooms that are reasonably priced. Overall, Patti's is a great random stop off for food, drinks, and a cultural experience. If it somehow pops up on your app in a Yelp search, no matter how far away it says it is, it's definitely worth a detour.

Total waste of time... terrible food, poor service, rude staff. There are so many other good spots to go to. Skip this dump.

The food there is outstanding. My wife gets the chili and she just loves it. If you are traveling through, you must stop in and get a bite to eat.

Great food, great fun, great atmosphere. You can't find a more welcoming place, and Patti's is what Northern Wisconsin is about. Some advice: Ask Patti to tell the Beatles tattoo joke...and be patient. Don't play pool with Scott. Have several shots of Uller. If you meet robot-guy, be prepared to listen awhile; conversation is one-way. The bar stools on the south end of the bar are more comfortable than the north end. Patti's serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and if you start early and stay late, you can get all three in the same day. Put Patti and Andrea on your list of people to meet in this short voyage called life.
