Parkview Grille

Hubby and I are in Litchfield for a couple of months on a work assignment and this is our favorite local restaurant. The owners and staff are so nice, and great about giving good recommendations. We ordered the popper appetizer and each got a different special of the evening. Both were hits. Their food is fresh, not reheated. We are foodies and totally love the quality of food here. We order something different each visit and haven't had anything we didn't love. They take reservations and I recommend making one on the weekends.

This place deserved more then 5 stars!!! What a amazing time we had. From the time we walked in from the time we left we felt like the staff really cared. A lady who wasn't even our server brought us some toys for our son to play with while he waited for his food. The food was great something I didn't expect from a small town restaurant. We didn't have one thing negative to say about this place. This is now one of my favorite places to eat!!!

Stop in, the Parkview Grille is great!I'm a neanderthal and I don't have a smart phone. So when a friend and I were driving back to the cities from Pennock, MN, we had no idea where to stop for dinner. We didn't have access to the internet to see all of the great Yelp reviews.Totally by chance, I picked the Parkview because of the well kept front of the restaurant and all of the cars parked along the main street in front. I was NOT disappointed!The food very very, very good. The staff were also super nice and on top of everything. The decor was very nice too, with modern/rustic touches like tin roof accents.All of the positive reviews seem to be well deserved and I'm adding another one.Thank you, Parkview Grille!-Daddy Maxx Retro

Staff was friendly. Makes you feel right at home. Was happy to see they had chicken wild rice for the soup so of course I had to try a bowl. I assumed it was a cream based soup but it wasn't. Even though the chicken broth based soup was a surprise , it was really damn good. I'm also a sucker for a Cuban and fries. Have to try fries everywhere I go. The Cuban was meaty and included meats that were cooked up nice and juicy. The sandwich wasn't lacking anything and tasted real good. The fries were also a good balance of crispy and soft. Not too soggy not too hard. I'd definitely return to try their other items.

Parkview is everything you expect from a small town restaurant: great food, service, and a welcoming environment. The scotch eggs are definitely worth getting & splitting with your group. The eggs were slightly over-cooked, but didn't taste bad in any way. Amongst our group we tried the cowboy burger, chicken Parmesan, and Baja fish tacos. And even though those food types are all over the board, they knocked each dish out of the park. The tacos were packed with flavor, and the 3 tacos are a huge portion so you'll probably have leftovers...but no judgment if you don't! I can't say enough about the service. Everyone was so nice & extremely welcoming. They made the effort to go above and beyond to walk us through the menu & make recommendations. Such great people!

We discovered this small gem a few years ago while visiting my father in law in a nearby town. It's become a must on our visits and this last time, we managed to go twice...We usually like to sit at the bar and meet locals- but they have a pleasant dining area as well. There is a full bar with a bartender who is capable of making anything you want...You can tell that the owner takes pride in her restaurant and treats the staff well...She is around and helping the staff- and she creates an environment that is pleasant for the customers. This place is fit for any city - with small town prices!! I love the wild rice soup and my husband had a great prime rib dinner. With limited food options- This is the best in the area!

The Parkview Grille is a true gem. And one that is very unexpected and appreciated in Litchfield. It has a well thought out menu and everything is cooked from scratch. I have eaten there divertido times now and have yet to be disappointed.My favorites? It's tough... the Parmesan crusted walleye is a real keeper! The burgers are really interesting... the olive burger is a can't miss. Had the mufalletta today and was in heaven! Don't forget the homemade chips or french fries! Have not made it to dessert yet. :/Give this place a try. It is one that we don't want to lose!

I love this great find in my old home town of Litchfield, MN. It's a small place, so make a reservation. The service is impeccable, friendly and fast. The menu has an awesome variety and substantial portions! There is a small bar where you can eat and have a cocktail or beer. They are open from 11 to 11. Coming back for lunch!! Please ignore Mo M, that's no reason to give 2 stars!

The service was great, the food was good. We split an order of wings and meatloaf panini. The beer and wine lists were nice.

Stopped by on scenic route from up north to Rochester. Didn't want fast food. Friendly local spot with good food and beer. Delicious root beer also!
