Park Place Sports Bar

My first impression was not great, but this place grew on me. GREAT vibes during Saturday night karaoke! We started with an older crowd around 9pm, and it seems the younger crowd came out to play at 11pm. And bonus points for having a boot hockey rink in the back. Ambiance (1/5)Outdated, much like the neighborhood. Value (5/5)Prices were low for the quality of food and drink. Service (4/5)Friendly and checked on us as much as they could. Food (3/5)We loved the nachos, the wings were just ok. Drinks (4/5)My drinks were delicious but served in the cheapest plastic cups.

Even though it's a bit of a dive, the service is good and there's a menu that has bar fare for all. There are daily specials here, which are fun to take advantage of, as they give something a little different than normal "bar food".I especially enjoy the wild rice soup and nachos here. The nachos are GIANT, so plan to share. Lots of TVs, so if you go to watch a game, you won't be without.

My favorite sports bar ever. Great service, food, and atmosphere. There are outdoor leagues year round for bags, volleyball, and boot hockey. Also plenty of single day tournaments and bar bingo twice a week..karaoke too! I miss it so much!

Food was surprisingly good... and I'm not just saying that because today was dive bar Saturday. Park place has outperformed dive bars expectations. Hit it up and come soon.. if you catch me at church, refill my Jamison diet. I promise we'll have a ridiculous conversation, I'll convince you to dance and you'll wonder things about yourself that haven't occurred to you before. Order the bourbon burger... or whichever Burger has the fried inion strings on it. Kisses... Tip like you should in SPP!!!

The food is fair. The coffee is hot and Republican that owns it is a jerk but outside of that yeah it's OK if you don't have any place else to go would be the place to go. I guess it only deserves 2 stars

First time experience*** New to area! Aside from forgetting the sauce (that I paid extra for) and cutlery... the food was pretty decent for bar food. Traditional wings and "boneless" wings were a little dry but looked more like chicken tenders. Maybe if I had sauce it would mask the dryness. Burger was by far the star of the show. Taken back by bar servers response when I inquired about the "takeout convenience fee"... was wanting to know if it was take out only or dine in as well. His reply was that it was to off set the credit card processing fee. He said "hun, everyone charges this... should have paid cash or contactless Apple Pay". Had I'd known I would have chose an alternate form of payment. I understand costs going up and small businesses needing to adjust to overcome all the recent challenges. Not a big deal but definitely sour by his attitude towards my inquiry seeing this was my first visit. Maybe a better experience for dine in ... perhaps if I was a regular it would change my POV. Not as welcoming and inviting as I had hoped for being the small town bar. Going to try other places.

Happy hour starts at 2pm. Giant frosted mug and solid tap beer selection. Service is great and the music selection is right off my play list.

A great place with a great beer list, kitchen, and menu. With the friendly attitude of the clientele thrown in, it's a hard place to beat.

I gave this place a bad review a few years ago and I want to update my review. They changed their menu and the food is great now I've eaten there several times now I love the Cobb salad.
