Panaderia y Pasteleria La Estrella

We love panaderias, so we visited La Estrella. There were so many things we wanted to try, but we settled on a dulce de leche empanada and a cream cheese pastry. The empanada was described as being like a cookie, and I was not disappointed. The pastry was slightly sweet and flaky, and the caramel sugar filling was heavenly. If I were not already full from dinner I would have devoured it all at once. We also enjoyed the cream cheese pastry. This had a cookie-like texture and a slightly sweetened cream cheese filling. If we lived closer, I would definitely consider getting one of their beautiful cakes topped with fresh strawberries.The space was inviting--clean, brightly lit, and inviting. There was a cute selfie wall with sayings that played on both Spanish and English expressions related to pastries. The staff member was friendly and helpful. We'll be back next time we're in town!

I ordered an 8" chocolate cake pictured with strawberries on top of chocolate frosting! The staff was very helpful to me in ordering it and packing it up for the ride home! The place is so clean it made me feel so confident in this new bakery!

Best bakery in the state, especially the cakes flavor like no other!I highly recommend this to everyone if you have a special occasion where you want to impress your guests!
