We didn't end up with everything we wanted but left with a bunch of other things we were looking for or found. The cashiers did take a hot minute to chat in the middle of ringing us up, which stopped the whole process but it wasn't an excessive amount of time so I wasn't too bothered by it. We ended up going to the restaurant portion after making our purchase and got 4 al pastor tacos and a plate with some onions and steak, retried beans, rice, and tortillas on the side. Their food is amazing, super fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The salsas were packing a punch of flavor, freshness, and spice honestly probably my favorite salsas I've come across at a Mexican restaurant. We had a little difficulty ordering since most of the staff didn't speak English and I barely remember what I learned in three years of Spanish class but we successfully ordered and the food was outstanding.

Look, I am Vietnamese which means I am a pastry nut! And Yes, this is why I am FAT(when it comes to food, you SHOULD trust people who are)...This is one of the BEST pastry/bake area in the Twin Cities. They make incredible cakes, especially the milk cake and 'java' flan! The butcher shop has an amazing selections of meats and marinated meats that is ready for you to grill for a quick mexican meal. They also a have a wonderful 'taco'/deli hot food area - a must for a quick lunch. If you like fresh peppers (Red Jalepenos especially for me) - this is the place to get them. Much cheaper than the standard 'American' store.

This is one of my favorite panaderia's in the area. They ALWAYS have bolillo when I need it and it is always wonderfully fresh. They have great pan dulces and cakes too! It's all tasty. The little butcher area in the back is great too, perfect for getting your carne asada meat, or my personal favorite - their thin sliced chicken is literally wonderful for marinating. The little cafe there has food too - tacos, enchiladas, etc. The tacos are very good and perfect for a quick meal. The salsas are really tasty and spicy! I wouldn't necessarily recommend the enchiladas though - the meat that came on them was very dry like it had been sitting in a warming pan for a long time and there was just too much cheese. It was a bit of a mess. The salsa, again, was fantastic though!!During the covid-19 scare, this little grocery store has been such a go-to for me! There are no crazy crowds and I get my bread! So happy we have it here.

Stopped in to try the carnitas tacos. They are my go too for Mexican food. They service was good and friendly. Tacos on $2.39 each and came with all the topping and loaded with carnitas. Green salsa is solid and not too spicy. I will be back to try something else for sure. There is a full service market with large meat options!

Mexican bread is delicious! Went there to buy sweet bread and snacks, found more goodies. They have marinaded meats which are awesome for homemade tacos. The only bad part is if you order food to eat there, there's only a small sliver of the store where you can eat. If I do go back I'll probably just buy groceries to go.! The tacos al pastor were delicious.

So I called ahead of time to ask about buying carne asada by the lb. and they said yes, it was available today. I drove out in the middle of rush hour traffic to now be told that no, they don't sell it by the pound. That's funny, because I have bought it in the past. A friend of mine also goes in and buys it on the weekends for her family. The woman at the counter was rude af. FAIL!

If u are not Mexican, don't go here!!!! In a way they are discriminating and laughing about it. I say this because my girlfriend is half Mexican, don't speak no Mexicali and they tested her like shit. This is the 3rd time we've gone in here and this time I went in. I am of color too so not the usual suspect at this place. Mind you, I have a aa lot of foreign friends including Mexican, true Mexicans, as in someone's dad or grandfather. I was even told about this hole in a wall place by a Mexican Gr8 friend, saying they have good food and their puspus (purposely spelt wrong) crap was on another level. I went in here because I try different food places, I'm a foreigner and I spend money at places where it's foreign to me, including Burger King. That's how foreign I am. I spent $40 for food with no lines. Basic tacos, quesadilla and a burrito. 7 Mexicans came after me and got their food in less than -10mins,I waited, another family of 5, less than 10 mins for all of them to get thier food. REALLY!!! I still waited no arguments or worry because I am not strange to people treating you in equally. Another 3 individuals came and got their food with no issues but before me. When the next person came, I felt obligated to ask for my money so I could go somewhere else. They made my food in less than 10 mins, but 50mins later. wow. Like I said, if u don't know the language, don't go here, they do have decent food but if you are not their color or race, expect to leave there not hungry but MAd that people still treat each other like that. If anyone, non Mexican leaves a message after this claiming they have good service, please ignore mine as it may appear they changed but if not, try at your own risk!!!!!!

Great place to get fresh bakery. Since this is a small grocery store, they are very limited, but they have all you need that you can't get at non-Mexican stores.Since 2014, I buy regularly smoke pork chops, beef, and poultry for grilling. It can be acquired by pound or package. Fresh ingredients for specialialized meals can easy be found at this place. If you like Chicharron or ripe plantains, this is your place, too!
