Outback Bar & Pizza

If you know the area Outback is a little drive from any town. I'm not blaming Google or Yelp who indicated they would be open but they were not. I blame Outback who's phone would sometimes just ring and at other times seem to pick up and then disconnect. Would it be too much to ask if Outback could leave at least a recorded message indicating their hours of business. Maybe, even go the extra mile and update there hours with Google. It seems to me it would be a good business practice.

This little bar and grill is just a few miles west of Hayward, and well worth stopping into. Steve and Sandy [the owners] take pride in everything they serve, and it shows. It is a family friendly place too. It is small and can get crowded at "rush hour" times, but if you want a great pizza, this is THE PLACE to go in Hayward! No cheap or scrimping on toppings or the sauce, that`s for sure. The crust is fantastic, and the ingredients blend together so well, no matter which type of pizza you try. As a side note, they also make a good "hot Dago", burgers and fries, a fish fry on Friday, and all you can eat spaghetti on Weds. But it`s the great pizza that draws the crowds. Now..... if you are a bloody mary fan, I recommend highly you at least stop in for one here! They make the best bloody`s in the entire Hayward area. It is a MUST TRY. The drinks are not skimpy, and the beer selection is enough to satisfy. One other important factor, is the fact the Outback Bar and Pizza is working class priced. You will NOT break the bank here. You get far more than you`d expect, and it`s friendly and welcoming to boot. In the Hayward area? You really should check this place out. You`ll be back, that`s for sure!

Best place for pizza and Friday night fish come early stay late you'll like it!!!!! Friendliest owners you'll find lotta nice parking quiet unique seating you'll have fun.

This is our go-to place for pizza! We love their pizza! Be sure to try their bar-b-q chicken with bacon (and we have them add blue cheese crumbles)....to die for.... The owners are wonderful and make you feel very welcome! I keep telling my husband we have to try something else but have always been so happy with this pizza it's hard to "go outside the box!" We have gone with friends who try something other than what we get and they say theirs is awesome too!

Typical country bar, but great atmosphere and superb pizza. We vacation on the other side of Hayward on Lake Chippewa and drive 25 miles to get there -- well worth the drive. Rick and Cindy do a great job and always make us feel special. We've heard it is kind of crazy in there during the dinner rush (with just the two of them), so we try to avoid that timeframe. Be aware that they are closed on Sundays & Mondays -- found that out the hard way (after a 25 mile drive both ways). But we went *back* on Tuesday for our pizzas. We *never* miss this place when we are in the Hayward area!

The place is simple, down to earth, and family owned and operated. They make a good pizza and the menu bodes standard bar selections. The conversation among patrons is comfortable yet lively and filled with laughter. I like this place because it far enough outside of town to feel like you're going out and close enough to feel like a neighborhood joint. There's a pool table too - that's nice. Right?
