I've always heard good things about Ono and was super excited to try it. This one is located inside a food hall called the Galley. You can order at the window or you can grab a table and order via the QR code and they deliver the food to you. I thought it was a bit wild that right after you order like under 5 minutes they are walking the food over to your table which says nothing is made hot & fresh. I do get with how hectic these food halls can get it would be hard to keep up but with the prices I guess I expected a bit more freshness. We ordered the Chicken Katsu w/ a variety of sauces. It also came with rice and cold mac & cheese. In the menu photos of the chicken katsu looked like white meat which is why ordered but when it came it was thigh/dark meat. Also lukewarm, would have been better hot also. Overall wasn't impressed & a bit disappointed.

Came here for a quick lunch the other day and was surprised by how big the portions were. I got the katsu and teriyaki chicken plate which came with rice, sauce, and cold mac salad. Everything was delicious and it was reasonably priced too. Ono is located inside North Loop Galley and parking is paid street only.

So good! Has such an authentic and homemade flavor, just like what I make at home. I go to United Noodles all the time and I'm happy to see them use the restaurant space again. They give a very good amount of food for the price, definitely shareable. I also love the variety of sauces to choose from.Tables can be limited on more busy days. Employees are always so friendly and helpful when making menu recommendations.

Located in a food hall this place has very good Hawaiian food. I ordered the chicken Katsu and Kalua pork plate and substituted garlic noodles for less than $20 total. I got a mountain of food that could feed 2 people easily. I would recommend the chicken Katsu, super juicy, very crispy panko crust with a garlic flavor and goes great with the dipping sauce. Buy extra sauce as you will need at least 2 and they have multiple flavors. The Kalua pork is a little salty and doesn't have much flavor, not too different from regular pulled pork but my partner liked it. The garlic noodles were a little salty but went well with the creamy Mac salad. Pro tip they do charge a credit card fee of 3% so bring cash if you have it. I will definitely come back next time and try something else on the menu!

This was one of the best experiences I've had in a cafeteria setting. Their menu has a variety of options to choose from whether it be from burgers or spicy chicken sandwiches to spam sushi and poke bowls. The food was made to order and served hot! Their burger is one of the best burgers I've tasted. The meat was marinated in teriyaki sauce. Next time, I'd get the fries without any sauce, but you cannot go wrong with either sandwich. Definitely going back here later this summer.

So happy to know we have Hawaiian BBQ in Minnesota! The kalbi ribs were delicious and seasoned to perfection! The chicken katsu wasn't my favorite, it was a little dry and the sauce just tasted like ketchup to me - compared to other chicken katsu I've had. I loved the island teriyaki sauce though. The Mac salad was so delicious! I would come back and buy a gallon of that Mac salad! The guava nectar juice is one of my favorites to pair with Hawaiian BBQ. This location was a bit hard to find. There's a large parking lot with lots of parking available, walked into the attached bar, and was able to find Ono as a smaller restaurant inside the large bar. It's a bar so it was pretty loud. The kind gentleman at the counter was very helpful and polite. He gave me a number and brought my food to the table all securely packed up and ready to go.

Placed our order online and it was ready in 10 mins. There's plenty of seating in their large dining area or outdoor patio. Loco Moco is iconic Hawaii comfort food... instead of a hamburger patty this has deep fried chicken cutlets. Huge portion but only wished the homemade gravy had more umami flavor.

As someone who has spent much of my life in the islands, I am always on the search for some 'ono grindz and 'āina style food. This place has just that. Here, you can find poke, kalua pork, huli huli chicken, mac salad, and plenty of other island favorites, all for an affordable price.I opted for the spicy and shoyu poke, mac salad, kalua pork, and huli huli chicken, and all were absolutely incredible. By far the best poke I've had in the Twin Cities, and some of the closest I've found to island style outside of the islands. The mac salad was wonderful as well as the kalua pork and huli huli chicken. Everything was great and certainly what I had hoped it to be.The service is nice enough, you order at a window and someone will come bring it to you, and clean up your dishes. Very efficient. And the ambiance is good enough too, it's in one of those more modern looking food-court establishments in which several vendors occupy a space, and the tables are all shared. I feel for a place like this, it is perfectly acceptable. All in all, a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.
