Stopped here because we wanted something that wasn't Denny's. The waitress was great and service was too! We got the hot wings appetizer, which was perfect, they were crunchy and delicious. I had the fried cod with fries and coleslaw. The cod was golden, crunchy outside and juicy inside. The slaw was fresh and I loved the dressing. And the fries were plentiful and hot!My friend ordered the chicken stir fry and he raved about it! The whole experience was a great meal.

Fun find. Good food for a fair price. Service with a smile. Ambiance was low key. They offer a breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday.

The staff was attentive and friendly! It was extremely busy but very fast. Giant menu. Truck stop vibes. Prices were very low. Basic food options.

Meh. If you are not into seasoning on your food, this is the spot for you! If you need more spice in your life, check out Perkins down the road (that was sarcasm). The chicken noodle soup was a tasty little cup though, buuuut it was mostly noodles. I had the Philly sandwich, the beef was dry and unseasoned. Even the au jus I ordered with it was not the saltiness I was looking for. This place is perfect if you are on a special diet for your blood pressure.

Went to Olivia's restaraunt in Owatonna I LOVE her lite plate lunch. Grilled and Tender chicken.. Mmmm. Olivia is Always so sweet and always comes to talk w us when we go in. My grand daughter Raia grew up here from newborn on up now 9yrs old. Her Food is home made and AMAZING.

The food and drinks were amazing. Plus price are good. The service was fantastic. The music fun.

Olivia's has been family owned for a number of years. Part of it's relaxed, antiquated charm is probably because it used to be part of the Happy Chef chain, Fortunately that colossal chef that stood out front is long gone. The prices are good. The portions are large, and for the most part the food is good. I think the menu is too large. You can't offer everything and do it all well. Breakfast is served all day, which suits me fine, They also do a weekend breakfast buffet. I think the buffet is good but not great. The saving grace is that if something isn't quite up to par, I can always smother it in sausage gravy!The daily dinner specials are typically good and a nice value. The burgers and sandwiches are also good. Their soup is excellent. The chicken dumpling soup is my favorite, and it's usually available, Their biggest negative is the potato options, French fries are always undercooked. The hash browns are often undercooked or fried hard. If you're planning on on a sandwich and side combo, I recommend skipping the fries and going with the soup.The food arrives quickly, The service is very good. Overall this is a great place to grab a good affordable meal.

Olivia restaurant definitely has great friendly service and wallet friendly prices but does lack in flavor. I got spaghetti and bowl of soup. The spaghetti was fine but the bowl of soup was only a cup of soup and unfortunately had a bug in it.

Have went to this place for years and love their soup, but food lately is hit or miss. Ordered 21 shrimp and came burnt brown in color with all the shrimp sticking together and dripping with grease. Totally disgusting. Asked for chicken strips instead and they were over done and had to eat cold fries off the first order.

Love the atmosphere and service! My mom loved the vegetable beef soup that was clearly homemade. Food came fast and our server was fabulous!
