What an incredible experience! We sat at the bar and were treated to exceptional service from the bartender, who made fantastic drinks and kept everything running smoothly. food was absolutely amazing--every dish was packed with flavor. The ambiance was cozy and charming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Even some of the staff took the time to acknowledge us, which added a nice personal touch. We started with the Sourdough Focaccia which is a MUST. Seriously, just get it. 10/10. Next were the Brussels and the Carrots. Both were great but the carrots hold a special place in my heart now. we also got the Insalata which was great, I always need a salad with my meal. For the entrees we got the Rigatoni and Casarecce. Mitchell was our bartender and suggested the Casarecce. 10/10 you also must try this. For drinks we got the Espresso Martini, Daddy's Back, Italian Sour, Motor Spirit, & Tom's Night Out. Every drink our bartender crafted was a masterpiece--expertly balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could tell they took pride in their craft, with each cocktail tasting just as amazing as the last.

I love meals at Olio. Impeccable service, food, beverages and ambiance. No notes. If you love a cozy local vibe with fresh made pasta and delicious cocktails, Olio is the place for you. The place is tiny, the vibe is Cheers but elevated food. And let me tell you, you'll never have a better espresso martini or olive oil ice cream. Best affogato I've ever had! Perfect spot for a girls' night out or romantic date.

I've been hearing about Olio for a while and my husband and I finally made it there for a date night. The food was great, I loved that they had rotating specials also, because it keeps it fresh for those that want to go often. It is a very small venue, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. We were sat by at the window 2-top next to the bar and it did feel a little crowded, but not enough to ruin the experience. We loved both starters. The Fingerling Potatoes were on special, but they were husband's favorite part of the meal. For pastas I had the Casarecce which I was told is one of their most popular dishes and I can tell why. It has all the things you'd want in a pasta. Husband got the Paccheri and he liked it. Of course I had to get the olive oil ice cream, because anytime it is on a menu it is a MUST get.

I have chased some of the best Italian all over the state of MN and Olio has moved to the top of my list. This smallish Italian bistro has unbelievable food, a relaxed vibe and a staff that helps guide the way to an amazing dinner. We had wine paired with our starters and main items and began dinner with bruschetta, Caesar, and the burrata and followed with three pasta dishes,Casserecce, Rigatoni and Pacherre. Each pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauces, mushrooms, meats were heavenly! It felt like i was in a cafe in Sorrento enjoying dinner with the family. Reservations are a must - stay fordessert sea salted olive oil icecream and a slice of chocolate heaven finished us off. I fell in lobe with Bayport and will be back in October!

Best New Restaurant around! Olio in Bayport outstanding! They have just opened but you would never know it. During the time they had pop ups in Hudson they must have worked out any kinks Three of us enjoyed a wonderful lunch today. I have Zero negative feedback The build out is so cute and the seating was comfortable. The serving plates & bowls are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Greeting & service were impeccable Food was sheer delight!! Honestly every bite was just perfect. One of my friends had just been yesterday and we are all eager to return. So many things on the menu that I wanted to order! Best Wishes for a long and successful life for Olio!

Phenomenal! My husband doesn't usually care to weigh in on my reviews, but wanted to add, Olio has his stamp of approval. We started with amazing service. We were a walk-in, and had to wait. They did a great job communicating with us regarding when our table would be ready, and offered a drink menu for our short wait. The space is small, but very warm and cute. All of the food was excellent! We tried the arancini, which was fried well and full of flavor. I got the campanelle. The pasta was cooked very well with wonderful pesto flavor. Even the bread crumbs felt fresh! My husband loved the pasta with homemade fennel sausage. The sausage was rich in flavor but not overwhelming. We were full but had to try dessert. The lemon curd with the zeppole was cooked well and delicious. Already have a reservation to go back.

Fabulous experience at Olio. Upon arrival you just take in the amazing decor and ambiance of the restaurant a very homey sophisticated modern feel. (Even the bathroom is adorable) our waitress and the bartender included provided amazing service, the bartender explained every dish thoroughly and gave us his recommendations. Our waitress was fun and accommodating. THE FOOD. Delicious all around. The Veal and pork meatballs with pasta was fabulous, the kids ate the CAMPANELLE - hazelnut pesto which I had a taste of, it was light but very flavorful, you can't go wrong with the Sourdough Focaccia served with a garlic whipped butter and a warm marinara sauce, hubs had the pasta Nero which I also had a bite of, another great dish with a little bit of a kick. I also ordered Phony Negroni - that's definitely an acquired taste IYKYK. We will definitely be back.

Visited 6/26/24. Was planning to come a few months ago and sadly had to cancel but so glad I finally made it in! Easily scored a reservation a few days prior for 2 people at 6 on a Wednesday and we were seated right away. They do have a table time limit due to it being a smaller space, and if I had one qualm about the place this would be it. My friend and I took about an hour and a half (the designated time) and we ordered and ate fairly quickly. I know there's not much wiggle room with this with it being a smaller place but I could definitely see it being an issue for those who like to stretch meals out with multiple courses. The place is adorable and waitstaff was wonderful throughout with awesome recommendations. We started by splitting the focaccia and then my friend got the creste di gallo while I ordered the mafaldine. Full disclosure, I was a bit scared when I saw "dill" on it because I'm always hit or miss with dill but this pasta was everything! There's just something about it when it's perfectly homemade, cooked, and sauced. The vodka sauce with mine had a slight kick to it, but it was nothing too crazy and I loved how the sausage in it was more ground and embedded into the sauce vs it being overly large slices. Writing this review I'm wishing I could eat it again. My friend got the creste di gallo (I snagged a bite), which was a bit lighter and perfect for the summer season. Don't forget to save some of the wonderful focaccia for dipping in the sauce. Overall, prices were very reasonable given portion sizes, everything was delicious, and our server was very kind. I'm not in the Bayport area too often but this place may bring me back to it sooner rather than later.

We visited Olio when it was still a pop-up within Pedro's Del Este, but I'm looking forward to visiting the standalone Olio soon! The food we had was super unique and yummy, but small portion sizes for my pregnant appetite. The bruschetta was also delicious, but small and not great for sharing. Again, can't wait to try this spot again and taste some more unique menu offerings.
