Was looking for somewhere to grab lunch while adventuring out in Shakopee. Was excited to find this cute newly built community. I did order online to pickup. I ordered the Big Dilly because most places don't have pickle pizza (esp BOP) so I was excited to try something different. While I love pickles after a few slices I was kind of over the thick slices of pickles but overall I felt like the pickles itself were good. The prices were kind of expensive for a personal size pizza but so everything these days. When I walked in, I thought it was neat inside kind of an industrial/graffiti vibe. They did have a little arcade in the back corner with a few games which was cool as I can see it takes a while to make the pizzas. The 2 staff working greeted me and were fairly nice.I would definitely come back to try other pizzas as well as check out the other businesses nearby.

TLDR: As a restaurant destination, it was disappointing. However, if you were ordering carry out to walk over to Badger Hill, it might be a better experience. Pros: next to badger hill and Bravis, if you want to bar hop. I think it's important to note that the other OG ZaZa location is in a mall. And if I got this pizza at a mall, I'd be like "yeah, that's pretty good mall food!" Cons: oh man. There are 2 kiosks in the restaurant to order your pizzas from. This causes a backup, as you can imagine. A Surly-Brewery-style table order system (QR code) would be much more user friendly, less frustrating for all. Or just order before you leave home so you can skip waiting in the kiosk line. Pizzas were so-so. We got a Parma (good, but saaaallllty, all 3 of us agreed it was crazy salty), hell raiser (only 1-2 pepperoni per large slice, husband didn't like this one), and dill pizza (decent). They are wood fired, but the crust is more substantial than, say, a Punch pizza crust. Pizzas are $16-19 each. Our group of 3 paid $60 for 3 pizzas. Interior of restaurant is not appealing, we all agreed. We agreed that we felt better eating our pizzas once we got the leftovers at home. The table area inside is where people also wait for orders. Surgical suite bright lighting. Just typical "2010's" echo-ey interior, with super loud music, uncomfortable 2010 brewery metal chairs, no baffling. Better to pick up or get delivery, I think. Inexplicably, the bathrooms and storage rooms have a hallway of beautiful windows in front of them - the bathrooms should be interior and the windows should def be used for seating. What a waste of beautiful lookout space. No outside seating. Bummer. Owner was present. Interacted with him about forks - not a people person. But the kid who gave us our pizzas was friendly, efficient.Wouldn't go back or recommend to friends, but I'd be fine to go again if someone pre-planned an outing. If I want a Shakopee wood fire pizza, I'd def go to Mana Brewing first. Better pizzas and atmosphere.Room for improvement. Maybe it works better in the Roseville mall, this style of restaurant/service.

Randomly tried this place after seeing a ticktock. I haven't heard of this place before. The video got us drooling, but overall wasn't impressed. It was okay. Not sure how to accurately explain it, but the pizza didn't taste like a brick oven pizza I'm used to. It could be perhaps because it's such a new place and the ovens need more seasoning? The breadstick was doughy and garlicky. I typically don't like marinara, but it was good. The side of jalapeño ranch tasted more like a dill dip.

We were excited to try this pizza based on reviews . It fell flat. The crust was burned and gave bitter taste it was not good. The size was tiny for amount you pay. Meatball pizza had 4 meatballs cut in half . Pizza with chicken had tinniest amount of chicken. Toppings were very light . We payed 35 for two tiny burned pizzas. The only good thing about them was decent pizza sauce. This pizza was most definitely not worth 35 dollars

The pizza is delicious!! We had the double roni and margarheta pizza. Both were delicious!! We got our food very quick and the staff were very nice. I loved that they have a small arcade area where you can play card games, racing games, and claw machine!! Such a cute little slot to hang out while you wait. Will definitely be coming back.

We were hungry so no pictures as we ordered it to go post-Vikings game. This had a nice char to the crust, but we were a little disappointed. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and requested all the pepperoni to be on on half so we could experience the quality of the pie without additions however the pie was made as half pepperoni and half cheese. We had read a lot of great reviews and some less than great for us the reality was in the middle. The crust was lacking the lightness we were expecting, but flavors were good. We will be stopping in again to dine in.

Was excited to try after I found out they said they were Newhaven style. Og Zaza was not Newhaven it was a more like a pizza you would get at an Italian resultant like Zelo or a poor mans version of Black Sheep. Good enough to try but not worth the drive for a second time.

Stopped in at Headflyer and accidentally ordered way too earlier to their opening time. They were very open in communication and helpful to bring the order in. The pizza itself was awesome! Also had the Caesar. My dog's face says it all
