O’Shaughnessy Distilling

My friends and I stopped here for a tour last month and it was a really great experience!We took the tour, which was really cool seeing how everything is made. And the tour ended with a tasting of the whisky's paired with candy, which was fitting because it was two days after Halloween. The tour guide was super cool and very knowledgeable about the entire process.Overall, this was a really good tour that I would be happy to take again!

I love this place. Never been to a distillery before and they really made an impression. Arrived to this place around 1030pm coming from the market at the Malcom yards. Short walk but our group did get lost. Our server was amazing and walked us through the drinks. Chilled setting. Big place with a second level, (nice bathroom and large mirrors). I wouldn't mind going back.

On a trip to town my friends suggested we check this spot out. We met for an early dinner and I was super impressed with the vibes this newer distillery presented. The industrial vibes, and darker interior was complimented by the high tops and bar. The bar back was hidden behind doors which was a really cool way to keep a clean/crisp front to the entire bar.We each grabbed a cocktail and most of us got the lobster roll along with some fries...and it was FANTASTIC. It might actually have been better than the drink. Or I may have been really hungry. But I'd like to go back and find out which. Either way, I think I'd be very happy.

I came here during a yelp event and have been here several times with friends. Every time I come, the drinks are great! The service felt fast and knowledgeable on their beverages. The ambiance is a really cool place to bring someone on a date, or a hang out with friends for some fancy vibes!

I wish I had known about this place earlier! We came for a last minute dinner and they were able to seat us fairly quickly. We ordered the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were some of the best I'd ever had. We also shared the fish and chips and grilled cheese and they were delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and helped me choose a cocktail that wasn't too whiskey forward, as I am not a big whiskey fan. Plenty of choices for everyone. The space was beautiful too with plenty of seating. Highly recommend this place.

This place is incredible! I had no idea this place was here. I was in town for work and while nextdoor at Surley Brewing, another amazing establishment when our waiter suggested we check out O'Shaughnessy Distillery. The place is upscale and gorgeous. The craft cocktail list is extensive. Bar tenders were friendly and informative. This place is definitely on now my list whenever I'm in Minneapolis.

Happy hour offerings (food wise) have scaled down to chips & dip and flatbreads. It's a slight bummer but the ambiance well makes up for it. Even with arriving at 5pm (right when they open), I was pleasantly surprised to see the parking lot well on its way to being half full already. Clearly enough people have whiskey happy hour on their mind! ;)

One of my absolute favorite places to go to. I love whisky and this place never disappoints. The Irish American blend is perfect. Absolutely perfect. And then there's the food. Amazing. Fries bang. Snacks bang. Everything I have had bangs. The best part of this place is the ambiance . Super vibey . Perfect for a birthday , happy hour or just a sexy vibe for dinner

I'll preface this by saying I'm a 100% American Whiskey girl. I've always preferred the flavor over Irish. I drink a lot of whiskey and I've been to a lot of distilleries. I've come here a few times with friends for drinks and a tour, but never food so this is not a complete review. The ambience is classy in an old warehouse with a big parking lot in Saint Paul. The behind-the-scenes distilling rooms were immaculately clean and the copper stills are a sight to behold! The tour guide was great & thorough, and the service is always pleasant. I appreciate their innovation and trying to bring a unique product to market. My friends love the place and their food. I haven't been swayed by the Irish American blend, but it's definitely an experience to try out and decide for yourself!

When I walked into this place. I thought "wow! This space is beautiful. " they have really cute sitting areas with nice comfy chairs and big booths for larger groups. It was just my husband and I so we grabbed a spot at the bar. and I'm happy we did. The mixologist at this spot were so friendly and it was very interesting to watch them whip up the cocktails. They mainly do whiskey drinks and I ordered the beorn old fashioned which was recommended to me by the man at the bar and it was fabulous.im not a big old fashioned girly but it was a the perfect mixture of whiskey and sweetness. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because our tab was $35 for 2 cocktails so it is on the more pricey side. But. All in all We are definitely planning on going back and bringing our whiskey loving friends.
