Not Justa Diner

This was amazingly tasty good! Not a fan of frozen chicken tenders but it didn't matter because the crispy bacon inside the waffle and the Carmel pecan topping made every bite sinful! My husband got the chicken fried steak and was not impressed. It's served with beef gravy but on this day they had a sausage gravy which he opted for. But what made it not good was it was Italian sausage, not a breakfast sausage which it should have been. We will be back though because gotta have the chicken and waffle again!

We went to Not Justa Diner for breakfast. Our server Taylor, greeted us right away and took our order. I was surprised at how many good choices were on the menu. We ordered the Chicken Bowl, and Two Eggs, Hash browns and Hamburger Patty. Both dishes were served hot, and delicious! The hamburger patty was cooked perfectly, and the sourdough toast was just like Grandma's. Thank you Not Justa Diner for a great new menu, hot food and friendly service! We're looking forward to trying your Friday Fish Fry!

I circled around the highway because there is no indication you are there, unless you walk in. It's still the old signage. It's as if they bought the place sight unseen with a turn key business. The inside booth seats are taped up. Needs major cosmetic work. The food was an oddity. We got the haddock dinner. Most places a soup or salad comes with, not here. The strangest soup, I forget what they called it but it tasted like tomato sauce. The salad was not tasty. The haddock although sizeable had a crust like a crustasean shell. You couldn't cut through it. I just picked it up and dipped it in a dull tartar sauce. Since diners are known for pies we gave it a shot. Raspberry pie was ice cold, not room temp. Same for a peach cobbler. Unlike any I've seen, nothing crumbly on it and ice cold as well. There is a local chain of Not Justa's. I've been to the Cafe in Bayport that I love. Breakfast and lunch items may be another experience for someone willing to take that dare. Justa not me.

Had a great California burger and for 4 adults it was $75 with one having the fish dinner.Love the feel of the diner - old Wayne's Cafe when I was growing up.

I knew I was in trouble when not asked how done I wanted my burger. It came out quickly but overcooked. It lacked seasoning and only came with a bun, cheese and pickles on the side. I upgraded to house cut French fries that were undercooked. I was never offered a refill on my soda and could not get the servers attention when I wanted extra napkins. Diners should also know there is an additional fee for credit cards. As someone conditioned to have a grand slam for breakfast I also want to alert patrons, every breakfast item comes with hash browns and toast. Pancakes or French toast are offered alone only or as an add on.

Sad to say that I just had the worst meal I've ever had at this restaurant. I've eaten here several times and have always been happy and satisfied. Not today !I had the fish fry,...2 piece w/waffle fries and corn. The fish was two pieces (overcooked) that were just slightly bigger than a normal frozen fish stick !The corn was,....absolutely disgusting,....couldn't/wouldn't eat it. I wouldn't feed it to my dog !The waffle fries were very good (thank God)!The cook sent out "new" corn. It was only slightly better than the first batch. I still wouldn't eat it. Sad,....i really like this place but today was,...rediculously baaaaad !!

Always great food and great service. Portions are big, great addition to St. Croix falls

First time stopping here. Figured it had to be decent like most dinners. Maybe their other items are better but my choice was not a good one. Service was great. Waitress was attentive and courteous. Kept my drink full. I ordered the Cuban Nachos. I've never had a Cuban with jalapenos. Dish was over cooked. Half of the pitas weren't edible, rock hard. All of the toppings were on the bottom of the pile, on the plate. I will give it another try on another day. Great mix of music playing.

Took over 1hour to get served. Than they forgot the wife's order so we split mine and left.

Waitresses were eating not washing their hands, serving food. Cleaning tables, serving food, not wiping hands. Waitresses itching shape, no washing hands. Food sat on the line at least 5 minutes. I do nor recommend.
