Fast service gets this place more than one star. Walleye fish and chips - more breading than fish. Fried well done. Coleslaw made with Dijon mustard!?! Not good. I ate all the fries because I hadn't eaten all day. They were okay, but I don't generally fill up on fries. Didn't have a choice. Been to MSP a lot. Never ate here before. Never will again.

For an airport breakfast, my Breakfast Burrito at Northern Lights Grill was tasty and reasonably priced. At under $9, it's hard to find a hot breakfast with more variety than this ham and scrambled egg burrito wrapped in a flour tortilla.I opted for guac on the side and added some Cholula to compliment the green peppers inside. My breakfast potatoes were a little more soggy than I'd like but the server was extra nice and I can't complain about the cost!

Ahhhhh airport bars and food, don't you love them? I think I actually do. This place is actually decent. A few small TVs, a few beers on tap, no power adapters, and fast service.I got the fish and chips and vodka soda double. The fish was decent, the fries ended up a bit slimey. Good amount of fish though. Was sitting at the bar and the bartender hooked it up with an extra long pour on the double. Thank you good sir for making my flight back to NY more enjoyable.

Can't really complain much about this place because it is an airport joint. We were desperate to eat before our flights... time change and all... this presented itself partly because of the TVs that they had (watched the MLB playoffs) but the restaurant showed its age due to the TVs they had... NOT flat screens and they were old school! Our server was friendly... I forget what I had... yes it was that memorable but I did ask for an A1 steak sauce but they didn't have it... so something steak(y)Like what others Yelpers say... Fill up before you head to MSP.

If you are taking off in concourse D this is a very convenient spot to grab a cold beer before your flight. It's in the airport so don't expect any happy hour specials you'll be paying stadium prices inside the airport. The food wasn't that great. I ordered the turkey club and the turkey tasted cheap. It lacked flavor and the bread was hard to bite into. However, the fries were good! Thick cut and salted to perfection. The service was great. Loved Mike the bartender, he was very interesting and full of things to talk about.

I ordered the pot roast plate. It's not mom's recipe, but it is well cooked and seasoned. The onion rings on top seemed out of place. I would have added some carrots, too. The portion is amazing for airport food, and the price is very fair.

Didn't have any problems with service and was impressed with the food. Yes, the deep fried walleye was heavy on the batter, but it was cooked properly and was good. My work companion loved his fried chicken. Good slaw too. It's a great airport with good options, but the gates near here have this as a very good option with the MSP marathon walks.

We stopped in here during a layover for a quick bite for lunch. This was the closest restaurant to our gate. My husband got a turkey burger and I got the greek salad. I ordered my salad without red onion and it came generously covered in onions. I also got a mimosa for an ungodly $13 (but hey, it's an airport, they can charge what they want). This place was certainly overpriced and the quality of our meals were "meh" at best. We both agreed it was about what we expected walking into a no-name restaurant inside of an airport terminal.

If the Northern Lights Grille is the only lights you see in Minneapolis, stay in the dark. Disgusting- I've made TV dinners better than this food.Go to Surdyk's down the corner, you'll actually get something you'll enjoy!

It's an airport bar..... Poor service. Sat at the bar and it took awhile to for one of the two bar tenders to acknowledge me. Passed on the food because the food on other customers plates didn't look appetizing.
