Pics of Nelson Photograpghy

The ONLY great thing about this photographer (Dennis) is his camera. Even that couldn't help him capture any good, memorable pictures from my sister-in-law's wedding. You would think all "professional" photographers would know the basics or "photography 101s" of taking decent photos, but he lacked ANY professionalism or talent! Examples: He hardly took any front views of anyone at the ceremony. All the pictures were of the backs of peoples' heads! He ONLY took 1 front view of the actual bride while going up the aisle!! The pictures were blurry, under exposed, over exposed, or just badly cropped/spaced! At the reception, he hardly went around to take any pictures. Most weddings I've gone to, the photographer took an average of 1,000 pictures if hired for the entire event. Dennis at Nelson Photography took only about 350 in the 8 hrs he was hired for! And he only took the camera off his tripod once!!!I don't think I can say that this was an isolated event because any decent photographer would at least do the very least of taking a FEW good front shots of the bride! It's HER day!! Everyone actually thought the groom's uncle was the professional photographer because he was the one who went around taking pictures throughout the event while Dennis was nowhere to be found! I actually found him sitting at the dinner table with his wife relaxing while hundreds of "kodak moments" were taking place all around them!!He charged $3,000 for the event. You could find a decent photographer for that amount which would include an assistant and great memorable pictures (not a lazy photographer and his useless tag-along wife). I could keep going with this photographer's flaws, but you get the point.
