Good fried chicken strips with a very spicy kick!My friend and I split an order of the spicy chicken strips and it was very spicy...for me. Not only were they spicy, they were also freshly fried and hot. That just kicked the spice level up.If you want to do a spice challenge, go here and try the spiciest options.

Not sure what's going on with the reviews here but this place is bombbb. IT'S A MUST VISIT!This place actually follows the heat level so if you pick hot or painful, it's going to be spicy! The heat & spices just work together, I love it when you can still taste the spices through the heat. Theres a nice smokey taste to it. They also give you coop sauce on the side which makes it 100x BETTER. I always order the sandwiches with some Mac and cheese on the side. It's the perfect duo omg.The service is always great but the place is pretty small. They are working with what they have but that shouldn't stop you from visiting! :)

We came here while in town for a few days and i needed something spicy to eat. I got the chicken sandwich that came with two big tenders seasoned in the hot heat level and boy it was hot. It's a dry rub seasoning not wet btw and comes with a side of coop sauce, coleslaw and pickles. We also tried the Mac n cheese which also had a mild spice to it. Food came quick and the portion size is big for two people to share. Wish they had more menu options beside tenders and a chicken sandwich but other than that it was good.

I had Nashville Coop on my bucket list for a while nowand living nearby meant that I would constantly pass by but never found the time to see what's up. Fast forward to now, what I really appreciate about this place is that their spices are dried and it's shaken on the chicken strips after having been fried! That's what makes it so unique and enjoyable. The Nashville prepared protein reminded me of Canes but with a spicy dehydrated chili seasoning that sets it apart. The fries reminded me that of Popeyes in the sense that the potatoes were seasoned/battered before fried and allowed for a crunchy but tasty bite. One item that cannot be divorced from this meal is the spicy Mayo concoction that is included in the strip basket. Spice ratings -- I ordered the top two heat levels and for me, the clicking hot is very much spicy, but with a very distinct kick to it. Its bearable but most definitely will kick your butt! The growlin' heat level would be the more popular order because its slightly milder, but still very hot! Nonetheless, the sliced pickles as seen in the photos serve a true purpose in this meal and pairs so well with the earthy Nashville spice. I'm old-fashion at heart, so a pickle spear would've been the optimal option. This place is a small nook near the UofM's campus next to Noodles and Company. I honestly have no idea whether the franchise itself offers parking but you can find street parking a block before. A good place to grab some food on the go! Above all, I love the variety in having a spicy chicken strip option to Canes & they will be seeing me again! Food: 5Unique Spice: 5 Service: NormalSpace: Tight Overall 4.5/5

Two things that will be interesting about this review: 1) when I like chicken stripes they are typically thinner/crispier and 2) I very rarely eat something that I find to be too hot or spicy.I sought out Nashville Coop after a trip to Nashville where I had Nashville Hot Chicken for the first time. I fell in love. So after some research - I tracked down the Nashville Coop food truck. It was fantastic! So close to how I remember my experience in Nashville! The chicken is a little thicker than my "favorite" types of stripes, but still very good. I ordered mine "clucking hot" and it didn't disappoint. I ate there before a Gopher hockey game and my mouth/lips remained on fire during the game. It was VERY hot and the seasoning coated the inside of my mouth and my lips. They should serve milk...Also - the sauce that they serve with the chicken is dynamite. Super tasty meal overall but I might even tone down the heat next time!

I had high hopes, but overall this place was "okay." Ultimately I was disappointed you are required to order the combo with drink, so it gets a little pricy quickly. I also didn't like how the sandwich was just chicken strips, a bun, and the sauces & pickles I had to assemble myself. The chicken tenders were hard to keep into the bun. The sandwich itself was pretty good once I got the sauce ratio correctly. Fries were okay - good texture but could use more seasoning.Staff didn't seem very friendly. The place was quiet with no music. Honestly felt bad for the staff.Maybe I'll be back, but I'll certainly keep looking for a better chicken sandwich.

Best hot chicken out there! The sauce is top notch and the fries are great as well. I recommend this spot to people at least once a week. It's that good. **ask for their recommendation on spice level the first time you go**

I am a senior at the university here and I come here with my friend Connor at least o nice a week. By far the best and most underrated restaurant on campus, easily outclassing its cousin Canes across the street. The chicken is cooked to juicy perfection each time and the hot seasoning is always fantastic. on top of this, they have Better portionsBetter friesBetter sauce10/10

There is no better restaurant on the U of MN. The menu is limited to spiced chicken and sides/condiments, but they are masters of their craft. I go weekly and am met with hot food prepared to order. More times than not, I am met with extra food that the staff generous give. I could not recommend the place enough, and my only critique is that it isn't open 24/7.
