I hope they are reopening! I heard there was a loss in the family. I hope they take as much time as they need and then come back. They were an asset to the community. God Bless!!

I love going to nana's. The Pho is what really caught my attention because we no longer have to drive into the metro area for a good bowl of pho. When you walk in you'll see a refrigerator with drinks like bubble tea, Thai tea, Pepsi, starry, and similar drinks. You can read the daily specials or read the menu at the counter, where you'll order your food and pay before sitting. I really like the egg rolls, the beef pho, and pad Thai.My kids enjoy having pho and teriyaki chicken plate. They also have chicken nuggets and fries available too.(You can request to have your pho plain as well, if you don't like all the fixings) The food comes out quick. I don't think we've ever waited longer than 5-7 minutes. The booths have plenty of room too. Which I like. I go with my wife and two children. The kids like it there because of the pho, the decorations on the glass, and the stuffed animals they have on display. To be honest, the food is great and nicely priced but we like the people there too. Nana's has a nice mom and pop feel to the restaurant. We find ourselves conversing with them every time we're there. It gives the restaurant a nice home-y vibe.

Unique experience, fried wontons were a dip style appetizer, never experienced anything like it, not a fan. Took my mom out for lunch. I ordered a pho type entree with shrimp, mom ordered sweet & sour chicken. Somehow our proteins choices got switched by either the server or the kitchen, the receipt was accurate but it came out wrong (?). We just ate and left not wanting to deal with the mix up. Not terribly impressed...

Nana's Asian Bistro is our new favorite place to eat in Sartell. The staff is very friendly and eager to make your dining experience enjoyable. The food was delicious. I had the Crispy Fried Pork Lettuce Wraps. The pork was both crispy and moist, which isn't easy to accomplish. My dining companions had the coconut curry soup, which was very flavorful and served with a generous bowl of rice, and the also very good Pad Thai, again a generous portion. Don't be put off by the prices, mid teens, as the flavor and portions make Nana's Asian Bistro a good value. We'll be back!

I really didn't want to write this review, but felt it was necessary. On Nov. 4th, I wasn't feeling great and didn't want to cook. I decided to give Nana's a try as we had never been there and I heard it was good. I opened up my Instacart app and made an order for delivery. (From what I understand now, Instacart is connected to Uber Eats as their parent delivery company. - this will make sense in a minute). I saw there was an order generation fee, and a delivery fee and left a tip as well. With fees, tips and tax, it added $20 to the order. The app said it would take 30 - 50 minutes for delivery. I later got a message through the app asking if the order had been delivered. I stated, no and got another message telling me to contact the restaurant. I did. When I called, I was told they did not deliver. I said the app stated it was going to be delivered by someone who worked at the restaurant, not an Instacart or Uber Eats driver. He again stated they did not deliver. I asked if the order was done and he said yes, it has been done for a while. I said, if it is cold, I don't want it, but if it's still hot, it would be about 15 minutes and I would come pick it up. He stated he would "stay open", I didn't know what time they closed, as again, this was the first time I ordered from them. I told him I was on my way. I arrived at Nana's 15 minutes later and everything was dark. I walked up to the door. It was locked. I thought maybe there was someone still there as he told me he would wait for me to get there. I knocked a bit and then thought, maybe he's in the kitchen, I'll call and let him know I'm here. No answer. Now, really hungry and irritated, I decided to leave and address the issue with Instacart. I got back in the car and received a phone call from my house telling me someone just dropped a bag off at the door and left. So apparently he didn't want to wait for me and instead drove the order to my house. Upon opening the food, it was indeed cold at this point and did not look appetizing at all. We ordered two combination teriyaki bowls, some ramen, egg rolls and a Bon mi sandwich. The bowls and the ramen had beef that tasted almost old, or at best had been warmed in the microwave. It was tough and nasty. The bowls had little to no sauce so really no flavor. The ramen was bland and kind of dishwater like. The egg rolls may have been ok taste wise at some point but they were overcooked and dried out. The bon mi sandwich didn't have much flavor either and was pretty sparse in filling, however, this was the best item we tried :( Even if you're close to closing time, your quality and consistency in your food should remain the same as walking in and making an order. This was haphazardly put together and was frankly awful. I would have preferred the order to have been cancelled or someone letting me know it was pick up only instead of paying $90 for inedible food. I contacted Instacart via chat and they stated they couldn't do anything on their end about changing the fact that there was a delivery option when Nana's clearly doesn't deliver and it would have to be done directly through the parent app which is Uber Eats. At this time I have yet to get in contact with anyone there. But they did take my money!

The pho is reason alone to go! So much love in the broth. Place is clean and the ladies that work there are such sweethearts. 10/10 would recommend. Will definitely be making the hour trek just to dine again.
