Delicious dinner!! We arrived at 5:15 (they open at 5) and were lucky enough to get the last table! So plan ahead & arrive early.Despite the full restaurant, the service was quick and attentive. We did not have to wait long for drinks, appetizers, or our main dishes. Highly recommended the mango lassi! We also got mango chutney, which was a nice big portion and paired very well with the garlic naan and the papadams. I got the chicken shahi korma for my main dish and it was the creamiest curry I've ever had! There were nice big chunks of chicken and Indian cheese in a delicious creamy sauce. However, I asked for medium spice and there was 0 heat at all. Besides that it was an amazing meal!

Offers a delightful dining experience, combining authentic Indian cuisine with a modern brewhouse vibe. The food is consistently flavorful, with perfectly spiced curries, fresh naan, and expertly prepared tandoori dishes. The service is warm and attentive, adding to the inviting ambiance. Paired with a great selection of craft beers which I did not get. This restaurant is ideal for both casual meals and special occasions. A must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Indian food in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Be sure to look at the restaurant hours because it doesn't typically open all day.

We have not been here for about 5 years. It was Nutmeg. Today I had Spicy mango lamb curry. $18I asked for medium spice but I could hardly taste it. It is always had on a first visit to get spice level right. The flavor was very good. The size of the serving was a nice amount. The white ride was shared by the table. We got the cheese naan. About a foot in diameter and good. Great with the sauces. Flight of beers. Pistachio ale, Ed Fitz porter,Blue Moon, American Blond. I did not really taste the pistachio but I did order a glass of it out of the samples. The service was very good. The menu is very extensive and a guide is nice. We will go again. Lots of vegan items.

We had a decent experience at Namaste India. Their menu is full, so it was a little stressful to know what to try and order. Service* It was quite full when we arrived. We waited a few minutes for them to clean tables. Our server was fairly attentive and answered our questions well. Seems like they provide quick service. Food* Chicken Tikka Masala: Classic curry with rice. Great with naan. Very good! * Vada Pav: These sliders were so good!! The bread tasted like Hawaiian bread.* Samosa Chaat: It's like a samosa but in salad form. We enjoyed this. Vibes* They have some TVs - I forgot what was played. The restaurant is styled inspired from Indian culture.Parking* Large lot for the strip mall it's located in.

I don't give my ancestors many reasons to be proud of me, but today's lunch at Namaste is one. The food we had was absolutely splendid, and with so much variety you're really spoiled for choice. We erred towards safety with this being our first visit and got the coconut curry (level 0 spice) and lamb biryani (level 3 spice), and both of these were fantastic; I'd say unless you have no spice tolerance, a 3 is a good place to start out.One of the runaway hits was the samosa chaat, easily a meal for one and incredible. The service was attentive even if busy - and busy speaks well to the restaurant's popularity. Something that stood out to me positively is that they prepare your food when you're ready for it, so it comes out as fresh as possible. A nice touch!

They have the best indian street food in all of Minneapolis. This is the only place where I can get the Amritsari Cholle kuchle, which is a northern india street food delicacy. The bread was huge and portion was worth the price. The chickpea curry was very flavourful and reminded me of home. I also ordered the butter chicken which was also very authentic. When I went to pick the food the ambience inside looked good too. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the service is very very slow. It takes more than 40 minutes for the food to come, which I think is a lot, even when the place was not super busy. Plan accordingly!

Delicious! This may be my new Indian spot in the twin cities. It's a little out of the city in shoreview/arden hills but the price, quantity, and service is worth it. We shared the Chicken Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, a mango lassi, and a chai tea. Each chicken dish was around 14 dollars and the drinks were 3-4 each. When our drinks were low or rice our server was quick to fill them up. I really enjoyed my food and drink and would come back! There's a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. There isn't a ton of seating so I imagine it could get busy on a Friday night or weekend.

Now if you love Indian food THIS is the place to go. I love when we park at Namaste because you can smell the delicious spices from outside. The place is clean and modern looking. A couple of TVs for your enjoyment, one with Hindi music videos and the other of foodie places in India. I love a good Indian food place where there is a good mix of Indian folks AND American folks. This place appears to be a favorite to all! The food is always good. I love their lamb saag with medium heat. The chicken curry and tandoori murg with heavy hot spice level is right up my husband and son's alley! My other kids get chicken makhani mild. The appitzers - lamb sambusas, paneer pakora are seasoned and fried perfectly and the mint chutney they serve with it...good lord I could just drink gallons of the stuff! The basmati rice is always cooked to perfection as is the plain naan bread. The mango juice and mango lassi are also favorites. The staff is always helpful and courteous but the last time we went an amazing server was beyond kind. My daughter had nearly finished her mango lassi with a few sips left. The server took it before she could slurp it all up. She was sad about it since she loved it so much. The server apologized and gave her a free mango lassi to go! The gesture was so appreciated. As for why they call it a Brewhouse, I keep meaning to ask them. I forget all about that once I'm hypnotized by that amazing spice smell when we walk in.

The food here is stellar! My wife and I have gone here on an extreme regular basis (every 3-4 weeks) and have gotten close with one of the waiters, Ravi (Dada). The service here has always been amazing welcoming and kind. Ravi makes us feel like a member of the Namaste India family! He always provides us with new recommendations and every time the food is great! My favorites are the mango juice (which tastes like they just juiced a mango) samosa chaat, Chicken Josh with onion naan and to round out the meal gulab jamun!!!! (If I was ever on death row, this would be my last meal and I could die happy!) This place is know for their garlic naan which is also delicious! My wife and I have not had a bad meal here and we have eaten through almost the whole menu (we only have about 10 dishes left to try)! My wife and I have a tradition every time we go here, I'll sit and face one of the TVs that they have in the restaurant and she'll watch the other, on the tvs they'll have anything from Indian music videos (which are far better than American ones) food travels around different parts of India and even a slideshow of the chef making different menu items! It's always a competition to see who can find something new or interesting first! My wife and I have brought lots of friends and family here over the years and they all ask on a regular basis when we can all go back because the food was soo good (which it truly is!!)! If you are anywhere near the Midwest let alone the United States, this place should be on your bucket list! You will enjoy anything and everything you get here! Don't expect a fast food place because this is nothing like it! You will have to wait a bit for your food because they are making it from scratch each time, they put love and care into the food and it shows! The flavors are so rich and deep and this place is a well kept secret and is a great place for everyone no matter your spice tolerance! They will have an option for you!
