Nacho's Mexican Grill

My girlfriends and I went to Nachos in Hopkins before a Library event called PenPals. A bunch of other ladies had the same idea. The line was long, but they were quick and efficient! It took no time at all!I chose a Mexican Coca Cola and carnitas enchiladas with a side of guacamole. Everything was superb! Flavorful, delicious, and so enjoyable. One of my friends got the Sopas and now I have to go back and try those myself! Another friend ordered some fries which were crunchy and fluffy. So impressed!The dining area is clean with lots of room! Our group of 6 fit in no problem. Everyone working there is so friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going back!

i fux wit it.bathroom is downstairs, hug the wall on the right -- literally or metaphorically. employers are friendly! nice vibes. cash or credit. you decide! free water station. glass bottles of Mexican Coke available ftw.tried the pork with red sauce tamale. fresh and delicious. $4 for one. not cheap but understandable. their avo green salsa is YUM.

It's awesome that there are so many excellent Mexican restaurants in the Eden Prairie area, because when I find a really good one I return often. Giving Nacho Grill a try I wanted to order several items, so I got the Kids Nachos with barbacoa and extra beans. I'm so glad I got the kiddie portion because it was enough for two meals. Packed with flavor, the barbacoa was the star of the meal. The Bean Burrito was fat with beans, refried beans, and more beans along with a thick layer of cheese. Far superior to my flat Taco Bell favorite, the beans themselves were delicious on their own. Finally, the Chips and Queso cost a star. The chips were good, hot, crisp, fresh, but the queso was awful. No flavor at all, thin, and honestly not as good as queso from a jar. But that is truly my only complaint because everything else was yummy. La comida aquí es muy sabrosa. :)

I got take out from here and loved it! Reasonable value for good quality food. We tried a little bit of everything - nachos, burrito, side of rice, tamal, and churros. Everything had great flavor and we especially loved the churros. I'll be back to try some different items soon :)

This was the perfect empanada for pick up after a fun evening of drinks at LTD down the street. Service was great & quick. Definitely would order again-- it was just what we wanted + needed

I love that they have photos of all of their dishes at the front register. I got chicken and carne asada tacos which were straightforward and good. My favorite were the nachos! The nachos had the right amount of toppings to cover every chip. Overall, it was very flavorful and filling. The service was excellent! This is a family owned and operated establishment. They do a wonderful job greeting and offering recommendations to customers. The ambiance is very cozy as the restaurant has lots of vibrant colors. Pro tip: Taco Tuesday specials 3 tacos for $8.99

Great spot to go if you want to bring home or eat there! The staff are very kind and helpful if your not sure what to order! There is a small patio in the back that is great during the warmer months. Love the chicken nachos! Have tried many items here and all are so tasty! If you are craving Mexican food and don't want to go to a chain restaurant, highly recommend this place! Great place for a causal meal!

I love this fast authentic Mexican joint! It was my second time eating here.This time I got the steak fajitas and chips & guacamole. I love me the chips -- slightly oily, perfectly salted and unlike any other chips ive had before. The steak fajitas were awesome! The steak was sliced very thinly (never seen anything this thin) but I appreciated this because you could have every ingredient on each forkful and really enjoy the dimension of the dish and each flavor. The refried beans were a lighter bean than I'm used to and were ! I'll definitely order this dish again.

We swung into Nacho's for dinner on a weeknight and enjoyed our experience overall. You order at the counter, and the employee taking our order was friendly and patient as we decided what we wanted to eat. The space itself was quite large offering a seat yourself environment. I will say our table was a bit sticky and not from being dirty but the varnish or sealant on the top needs to be refinished. To eat, we opted for the enchiladas, chicken fajitas and chips and salsa. Their chips were great which is a such a key piece to a positive Mexican restaurant experience. My fajitas were fine...kind of bland but fine. The enchiladas were good but not the best we've ever had. As a positive, the beans and rice that accompanied both dishes were awesome. Overall I'd come back and try some different menu items but wasn't totally blown away by anything specific to crave another visit.

I visted Nacho's before a night out in Hopkins. And I can say, I made the right choice! So I went back. More than once. There just aren't a ton of good options in the SLP/Hopkins area for Mexican food. But Nacho's IS a good/great option! From personal experience - the tacos and enchiladas are worthwhile. The menu is surprisingly expansive. So if you are a burrito or quesadilla person, be my guest. You will probably like it too. My votes - taste/flavor: good. Chips/salsa: good. Tell them you like it spicy, and they will help get you what you are looking for. That passes my test. Maybe it isn't my favorite if I could go ANYWHERE, but it is quality and an absolute value. If you are hankering for Mexican and in the area, this would be my vote to visit. Where else you gunna go? Taco Bell? This is better. Believe me.
