Jill is a unique character and so is her establishment. She runs it very much like Dick's Last Resort (service with rudeness and sarcasm)! Her place is often busy and full of regulars. Her pizzas are well known and delicious! Many people arrive via their boat since Musky Run is also a five cabin resort right on Spider Lake. Be prepared for a shocking experience and a great time!

the bar and food is an upgrade from previous owners. but, the the cabins have gone to hell. the owner is a real peach.

OMG the owner is soooooooooo rude! How Jill can ever run a business is beyond me? She is crude, cruel, unkind, not welcoming, demeaning & miserable. Our family has been to the resort for 20+ years, and she treated us like we were garbage, proclaiming she "didn't need your f*cking business" and to "get the f*ck out" when we asked if she would honor the rates we received when calling/reserving our spot 6 months prior. I have never met a more condescending human in all my years. This woman needs Jesus in the worst way.

What a rip roaring good time! So much fun we had to go back for seconds the following day!We had a large party of people come in off the water THIRSTY and HUNGRY; boy did Jill deliver.Jill cranked out half a dozen hand made and delicious pizzas, supplied us with copious amounts of tater tots (also excellent), and managed to keep all our drinks full while juggling all the duties. She was so much fun and fully engaged with everyone in the bar; really made for a special trip. Needless to say we all left a very happy and very full bunch. Will definitely be back!

Our family has been coming to Musky Run almost 30 years. My parents took me and now we bring our adult kids every August. After not receiving the annual deposit postcard at the beginning of the year I called knowing there was new ownership. I spoke to Jill in February and she confirmed we were on the books and not to worry about sending anything in. At the end of our stay on 8/20/21, my husband went to go pay and rebook for the following year only to find out she was completely filled through 2022. She told him she "pissed off a lot of people too". I was shocked. I went to speak to Jill stating several times that we realize things change with new ownership, but not to be told in February when I spoke directly to her that it was changing to a "first come first serve basis" was disingenuous to families that have stayed there for many many years. Jill then proceeded to ask me "what would you have done if I bought it and turned it into condos? Then you wouldn't be able to stay here at all." I told her that she didn't and it doesn't really matter because she's booked anyway. Her parting words to me....."I'll be just fine and I don't need you." I've never met a more rude, ill-mannered, condescending business owner who acts like she doesn't need her customers. Maybe she'll eventually turn it into condos, maybe she'll fix it up and flip it, but wither way, I CANNOT see her running this long term. Completely classless.

Get to know Jill and you will love the entertainment, food and drinks. We love being able to ride over by boat or car, even snowmobiling in the winter. Her pizza's are awesome, appetizers are good as well. We try to visit every weekend we are at the cabin.

The new owner is extremely rude! We have stayed at Musky Run for over 40 years during the deer season. Jill did not honor the price she quoted us a few months earlier and charged us $200 more. She got angry when we questioned her about it. She went off saying F this, F that and made sure we knew that she didn't need us or our money and to never come back. I could never imagine a hospitality business owner could be so rude! Our 40+ year tradition is over. Hopefully she will sell the resort before she loses all her repeat customers.
