Mugg's of Mille Lacs

This place is always amazing! Have been going here since I was a kid because we had a cabin in Wahkon Bay. This place has only gotten better. We've been there twice in the past year and the walleye fingers are so good and authentic. My favorite whenever I visit back to Minnesota. The food was amazing, the ambiance was rocking, it was a Friday night in summer and there was a lot of people in town enjoying the lake. They had a meat raffle going on and won some sausages which is always fun. We also bought some sweatshirts and other items from the gift shop. Big bar, plenty of seating, solid pricing especially for a Friday night. Can't wait to come back. Service was great because we sat at the bar - which they always take care of us. Met some nice social people next to us as well. Played some pull tabs, overall a great time.

Stopped in on the way to the lake. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and my sister had the HUGE hot dog. I also had a Bloody Mary that was very nice with just enough spice. My meal was great, but my sisters hot dog wasn't super hot, may have sat on the pass. We did also have the loaded tots that were killer! A must have. Overall pretty solid food and service was good.

On the advise of my significant other and her sister, who frequent Mugg's every summer during their sisters cabin trip they finally talked me in to a road trip. I have to say it was well worth the trip. Our server was amazing , the food was nothing less than fantastic(we all ordered different burgers w: fries) and the place was clean and welcoming. As we were waiting for our food to come out, we inquired about the 1/2 pound chili dog on the menu. Our server said the table next to ours ordered one so when she served it she would slowly walk it by our table so we could check it out. All I can say that a future trip is on the works to try that dog out!

The food is always excellent! The loaded tots with ranch are my absolute favorite thing there.

Stopped by off the atv trail nearby. Great service from the bartender and nice selection of drinks. Enjoyed the cheese curds and the peanut butter burger. Highly recommend the moose drool in the frosted mug! Only negatives were that the Bathrooms could be cleaner. A couple of local patrons were quite rude. But can't dock points from the restaurant for d!ckheads.

On a rainy night early in the week there aren't a lot of dining options in the mighty city of Isle MN:)Our family had a quick 3 day getaway to Mille Lacs and stayed at Appeldoorn's. After asking where to eat locally that came highly recommended a few local folks said Mugg's was solid. In the neighboring city this place has to be a real hit with the drinking crowd. For the family with three small kids only having two tables that were lower made for a challenge. It is built for bar service with a craft bar vibe.Our food was very good the kids had several options on the kids menu and we split an incredible burger and a messy tots appetizer. The salads were also surprisingly good in a bar food environment. If you find yourself off 47 check this place out it's pretty good.

Muggs a local favorite. Great place to warm up with friends. Walleye bites and loaded tots are my favorite.

The woman I snore next to at night and I had a great experience there. Being new to the area we were looking for some local entertainment etc. we were sent there by one of our neighbors and we were not disappointed. The food was great along with the beers I had to many of lol. We will be back and we will recommend it also.

Great, friendly server! Amazing hamburgers cooked the way you want. Beautiful outdoor and screened areas, friendly home town bay atmosphere inside. Prices were a little higher than similar venues.

Awesome food and great service! The patio is a great place to sit back and enjoy the Mile Lacs vibe.
