Mr. Tacos

Chips and salsa is not complementary which is always a bummer; BUT the salsa is spiced, which I like.Horchata is really good! Not too sweet or syrupy.Homemade salsa, and also fresh masa offerings.The food came out EXTREMELY fast which I appreciated. However, we never got water (even when I asked for it). Hard to have spice without water.

This place is really cute. They have a decent size menu but it's not overwhelming. They also have a full bar. I ordered the lengua plate and it was excellent. Although I would just get the street tacos next time because in hindsight I realized lettuce, sour cream, and tomato's really have no business on a lengua taco imo lol. My sister had the birria tacos which she's had there before. This time the consumé they brought out was cold. We asked the waitress if she could have it heated up and that was no problem. She was very sweet and attentive. We also had the bean and cheese pupusa, which was wonderful! Highly recommend that. The dip/sauce that came with it wasn't very flavorful, but the combination with the slaw was a great bite. I will be back here to try more!

Overpriced. Service wasn't great. Chips and salsa isn't free. Salsa tasted too smokey tasting. Queso dip was very grainy, and hardly warm!!! Margs were overpriced for the size.

Appetizer:(6) Wings with Spicy Habanero sauce $8.99. Meaty wings but I expected more "heat" from habanero sauce. Good.Guacamole $0.99. (2) ounces of guacamole with decent chunkiness and hints of garlic. Pretty good!Entree: Birria Tacos $14.99. (3) Tacos with radish slices, lime, and consommé. The consommé was good enough, but similar to Au Jus sauce. Good. Dessert: Flan $8.00. Good custard texture with a nice glaze. Very Good.Drink: Horchata $4.00. Nice bite of spice and one of the best Horchatas I've drank. Very Good!Ambiance: Clean place, nice decorations with Sombreros, Guitars, and Art! Service: Perfect. Jose was friendly, prompt and attentive. Overall: Maybe I had too high expectations for Birria (which I've never experienced), but $5 per Taco for sparsely filled shells is a little too pricey. Plus, the flavors were not unique or memorable.

Great service - friendly staff. A couple came in that must be regulars here and it was just nice to see their relationship and how well the staff treated them. The machete with pastor and chorizo was delicious and we also shared the barbacoa burrito, also was very tasty, I preferred the machete. I was told the birria tacos are delicious, so I'll definitely have to go back for that.

Service was great: kind and didn't have to wait long, not overbearing at all either. I enjoyed the soup and tostada with chicken, I'd never had pozole verde before, I enjoyed it but would likely try something else next time. It came with a plate of onion, avocado, lime & lettuce to add in as well as a delicious tostada. The margarita had amazing seasoning along the rim. The best part though was the salsa! The house salsa I has great flavor and a slight kick, served warm. If you enjoy spice, be sure to ask for the hot salsa. There is a medium and hot and both have great flavor. Great for a family dinner night or lunch. I wouldn't say it's date-night material but perfect for casual.

I had the BEST birria tacos from Mr. Tacos! They were flavorful, cheesy, and so yummy! We also third the Cuban sandwich and it was also a hit. We will definitely be coming back!

From the reviews, and the fact the location is very convenient, my husband and I decided to try Mr. Tacos on a Friday evening. We got there just before the rush and it was packed for good reason within minutes. Friendly wait staff (with a few learners). Aromas from kitchen area made checking out the extensive menu tough on a hungry customer.Starter was a most delicious top shelf Margherita with fresh tortilla chips and salsa (a little flavor bite made it outstanding). Hubby opted for the shrimp fajitas and I went with my staple chimi-burrito. We were both more than happy with our meals in terms of flavor and options (plus it was plentiful). I went with the carne asada, although I had been leaning toward trying the signature birria in a burrito or taco. Next time!

I am currently on the search for the BEST birria tacos and these were definitely delicious!This place is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking! Then I walked in, I was seated right away and noticed that they had fun decor on the walls. My son loved pointing out different pieces and asking questions! The service here was quick and friendly! Everyone was overly polite and definitely made us feel welcomed!The food: The chips and Queso were both bland in my opinion and I would skip them. The chips were not salted well and even with the pico on top of the queso, it was still lacking taste for me.The marinated chicken flour quesadilla was tasty! My kid really liked it! And it comes with a decent portion!The star of the show here are the birria tacos! They are stuffed with meat, cheese, cilantro and onions! They come with limes which definitely enhance the flavor! The consommé here is 10/10!! Very flavorful!! I will definitely be back for these tacos!Horchata was...interesting. They give you a decent amount! But there was an after flavor that I was not a fan of. I would not get that again. I have had horchata before, so I'm not sure what the taste was that I didn't like. Overall, I would recommend this place and would definitely say give the Birria tacos a try!!

Tried Mr. Taco on a friend's recommendation. The location was colorful. The decorations on point. I ordered a burrito and it was delicious. Asked for some salsa and received three types to accent the flavorful burrito with some heat. I will be returning to try what they consider their specialty dish.
