Maybe because this was a private event, but this was horrible. They had 6 or 7 different tacos. That was the extend of the menu. We tried 3. All of them went straight into the trash after one bite. The cook made zero effort to craft these. Store bought flour tortillas not even heated up. Pulled pork had waaaay too much salt.Chicken was completely flavorless.Tomatoes, colby jack cheese, and iceberg lettuce. That's it.Sauces didn't help at all.Worst food truck ever.

Very good overall, but menu is very limited. Did both the brat burger and the funky Philly. The brat burger meat was exceptional, came with American cheese and sauerkraut. I think I would have preferred it without the kraut, as it was a little overpowering. The funky Philly was good overall, extremely messy. They also have fried almonds and I tried one from the sample tray which were good

The online menu had some cute names for the sandwiches -such as "hot chick" "cool chick" etcetera. I wanted to try the "cool chick". At the truck, "cool chick" was no longer on the menu and instead "southern chick" had replaced it. So I tried the "southern chick". Overall the sandwich wasn't as impressive as it's clever name. It was school cafeteria quality in my opinion. To add insult to injury, this heavy metal food truck was playing current pop music instead of heavy metal tunes. Whaaaaat? Way to represent. Lame.I'm guessing the 4 star reviews on here are manipulated by the fact that most of them were drunk when they ate here. Eating motley crew sober would bring those stars down a notch or two.

In my experience, most food trucks fall into one of two categories. Category one are trucks that focus on fresh, healthy food - often incorporating local, sustainable ingredients. Category two are the trucks that may be fresh, may be local, but throw healthy out the window. Motley Crews is definitely in category number two! Their motto is "Food that ROCKS!" and looking at their menu that is exactly what they try to do. Motley Crews strives to create tasty, satisfying food. They use top ingredients to make quality food; they add their own spin but are not concerned about recreating the wheel. On Friday there were several different sandwiches on the menu, most of which were versions of a Philly. There was the "Hot Chik" (slow-cooked chicken, provolone, mozzarella, and homemade buffalo sauce), and the "Hawaiian Crews" (thin-sliced honey ham, pineapple, provolone, mozzarella, and Motley sauce). Both of these sounded good, but I decided to try the "Almost Famous Funky Philly. The Funky Philly is slow-roasted ribeye, onions, peppers, provolone, mozzarella, Cheez Whiz, and Motley sauce. It was a good sized sandwich, and I felt it was a deal at the $7 price tag. The meat was tender, the onions and peppers were caramelized, and the sauce gave it a nice tang. Solid sandwich, and the cause of my nap that afternoon. As I worked my way through my Philly, I kept thinking that Motley Crews is the perfect food truck for a hangover. I thought how great would it be to have Motley Crews parked in front of my building Saturday morning, so I could eat their tasty, satisfying food and go back to bed.Motley Crews Heavy Metal Grill provides good, stick-to-your-ribs food at a reasonable price, and I will eat there again. Especially on days when I may have had one too many drinks the night before.P.S. They also have one of the coolest looking trucks out there!

Had the Lita, buffalo chicken and cheese. Meshell had the Philly with cheese wiz! Both were awesome sandwiches. The fries were just as good. I loved the Cajun ones! Remember to ask for toasted bread, if you want it.

I've seen this food truck a few times at different places and events and adore the theme and graphics. "Grills, Grills, Grills!" Haha! The menu is different every time, and unfortunately for me, always mostly meat. I will confess though, I tried the Philly CS Sandwich, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was as good as it gets around here [not that I know for sure, since I pretty much never eat beef...but dang! It was good]. Did I mention that I was pretty drunk? Well...I was, but I still think this is a pretty cool truck, and the folks working it were fun and friendly. Check them out!

I was at heavy metal grill last night and it was great. I had the kick start my heart and gouda bites. They have great happy hour. 3 to 6 it's bogo then a buck off. The staff was very attentive running around to make sure everyone was being helped. I noticed alot of team work. The owner hung around the whole time and introduced himself to everyone that walked in. The servers and pretty and the bartenders know how to work under pressure. Love the place, love the food and the people. Nice to have a place other than babes to go to that's not trashy and just greasy food. Keep it up
