We always stop here every year while visiting friends. Family owned. Great variety and Breakfest all day!! Great food but also amazing pie!! Love the cappuccino as well.

I really didn't expect much from a very small town family diner with very inexpensive food but I was very pleasantly surprised. I wanted to get the ribeye dinner but they were out so I decided I would try beef liver for the first time because I had never seen that on a menu before. I was glad I got the opportunity to take the risk and it paid off. The beef liver wasn't the only crazy thing on the menu. They also had stuff like Alfredo lasagna which sounded amazing!The staff was all very nice and welcoming. I was very happy to be able to support the restaurant. Whenever I come back to Wisconsin I will definitely be paying this place a visit.

The food is great, the service is wonderful and the owners are fantastic. They greet people as they come in even if one of them is in the kitchen cooking. They are truly members of this small community. And did I mention that the food is fabulous!

Great place to have breakfast at. Small family owned business and you get tested like royalty there. Good prices good place.

My husband and I hadn't been here for months. Because of financial reasons and the owners on vacation, we hadn't gone there. On Saturday, September 23rd we decided to finally stop in again. As we were eating, one of the owners/cook Harley came out to a nearby table and started loudly berating a customer about why he couldn't cook his meal as he wanted it. This customer was elderly and sitting with 3 other elderly people. The owner did this all in front of a full restaurant of customers. His wife (the other owner) did nothing to stop him.This all was very rude and unprofessional!

We were shocked at the number of different cuisines on offer at this little out of the way gem! We mistakenly thought that they couldn't possibly do that many things well, but we were so very wrong! The country friend steak is amazing! The pasta is wonderful! And this doesn't begin to tell the tale of their options. Their breakfasts are beyond yummy, and the portions are so large that they'll feed you at least once more (Just ask for the To Go box at the start. You'll need/want it!). Everything they make is so tasty, and the prices are so reasonable! Fantastic place to eat!

We drive 25 miles each way to enjoy this family restaurant,it's not your typical family restaurant, it's a gem, the food is prepared by a wonderful husband and wife team who truly put their love into this place.. Everything we have ever ordered is too notch and the flavors are amazing..Try the Mostaccioli Carbonara you will crave it often..The fresh Asparagus mushroom and rice pilaf that is paired with the delicious salmon fillet is another one of our favorites .I could go on but I'll run out of room.The service is excellent and the selection of pies is endless.Id highly recommend checking this restaurant out, you will not be disappointed.

Ordered hot turkey with potatoes and gravy. Came with absolutely yellow gravy. Looked like banana pudding! Gelatinous and gross. Tasted NOTHING like turkey gravy. Clearly from a mix. Turkey tasted freezer burnt. Waitress was fantastic, after 1 bite we sent back saying it was terrible. We could hear owner/cook yelling that he had just made fresh gravy and that we had to pay. We paid and promptly left, for good. A Big no!

The country fried steak and the Texas Burger are very tasty (and we're from Texas!). Our service was also excellent; however, if you don't want a heaping helping of Fox News with your meal, skip this place. It isn't even that it's Fox. I can't think of many things better at ruining a meal than eating while watching the news. I cannot imagine having a restaurant where I subjected patrons to this. The food was yummy and varied enough that we will likely go back, but we'll absolutely get takeout rather than try to digest food while seeing bodies lying in the street in one report and a bloody murder suspect in another. Come on, folks. This is just rude... rude enough that despite the wonderful food, service and value, I'm docking you two stars and will never sit in your dining room again.

It's not the food that's the problem it's the waitstaff and the owners that's can be sometimes the problem. The main owner treats staff horrible.
