Cute colorful location. The customer service gal couldn't remember our order, maybe it was the heat, maybe the smoke in the air. Some rather limitedSoft serve varieties but key lime was unique. They do off two flavors vegan. Lots of toppings to choose from including free edible glitter. Plenty of tables outside but they were all dirty. Parking was a bit of a challenge, unless you were willing to pay.

This place has been on my "to try" list for what feels like forever and I have finally made it to the Stillwater location! It did not disappoint. The entrance to the building was tucked away in some construction so it was a little awkward to get into the place but once you were in the atmosphere was so cute! We waited in line with lots of other people (always a good sign when a place is packed!), ordered our ice cream, and took a walk down by the river. It was such a wonderful little afternoon - my only complaint is that there isn't one in the south metro for me to frequent all the time!! I will be venturing up to Minneapolis to try the other location in the future.

I have waited WAY too long to try MN Nice Cream & it did not disappoint! I went to the Stillwater location but they also have a location in NE Minneapolis. Such a cute ice cream shop with ice cream cones for chairs, a balloon wall & the location itself is right next to the Stillwater Lift Bridge so perfect to take your ice cream & sight see So many different flavors, cones and toppings to choose from as well as a specialty menu for the kid in me I mean who doesn't love a cake pop & edible glitter in their cone ~ I will be going back a lot this summer/fall!

The soft serve itself was bland and a bit watery. The cones tasted and felt stale. The toppings were fun, and it's cool that they offer different "themes" everyday of different combinations you can easily order. The cones are served in another plastic cone, I'm guessing due to the stickiness of toppings? Maybe covid? Seems wasteful to me.Right now there's only outdoor seating. You order at a window and then it's brought out to you, or you can wait inside for your order with a mask on. Some people chose to wait inside since the walls are cute and make good pictures. There is not indoor-seating.

I was so excited to see MNNice Cream move into Stillwater! They have so many fun options for toppings, and their cookie dough is to die for. As a bonus, all their ice creams are lactose free! They're also so sweet to pups - my dog is so accustomed to her pup cup that she cries when they're closed for the season. If there's one thing I wish were different, it'd be vegan options that are a little more tasty. The ones at the main location in Minneapolis are always so creative! But the options don't switch out a lot at Stillwater and the cake batter and coconut flavors have been a little weird texture- and taste-wise.

This ice cream spot in downtown Stillwater was both adorable and yummy! The options were versatile in terms of size, type of dessert (ice cream, soft serve, shake, etc.), toppings, and flavors! If I were you, I would certainly give MN Nice Ice Cream a try.

I thought I was going to be disappointed with boring soft serve ice cream...but this place rocks! The soft serve is good. But the main thing is they have a million toppings! They have some pretty cool cones too. I picked a green chai tea waffle cone. They have dairy-free ice cream too. Apparently, it's based on almond milk. I picked a black coconut cocoa non-dairy ice cream...topped it with fruity pebbles and edible glitter...put it all in a green waffle cone. It looked really cool and tasted great! You have to be careful when you eat the non-dairy ice cream because of the way it melts. It doesn't melt creamy style, like dairy ice cream. It melts more like water and will easily spill over the top of your cone or drip out the bottom like colored water. I got black drips all over my shorts. Oops! One other thing - they have a scratch n' sniff banana wall!Thumbs up!-Daddy Maxx Retro

A great place for a cool treat on a hot day while walking around Stillwater. Lots of cool things that you can add to your soft serve to really spice it up including edible glitter, gummy worms, cookie dough, fruity pebbles, and many other fun toppings! They also have puppy chow and bacon as toppings for ice cream!? Yes please. If you are from a Minnesota / Wisconsin background you will also be pleased to find that they have Blue Moon flavored ice cream at this location in soft serve form. If you are not familiar with Blue Moon, it is an almond flavored treat. As an extra bonus, the Blue Moon is dairy free and made with Soy, Almond, and Coconut milks. It is delicious! A bold move to be right behind Leo's Ice Cream Shop, this place will definitely became a new anchor in Stillwater for tourists and locals alike! We will be back.

This is such a cute store to visit in the Summer. There's a cool truck you can take instagram worthy pictures by with your decked out icecream cone. This is one of my favorite places to get ice cream, because I love all of the fun toppings such as edible sprinkles and gummy strings, toasted marshmellows..so unique and the end result is a work of art. Their flavors are pretty good too. I think my favorite was the vegan lemon raspberry. There are a couple of reasons im giving it a 3 star though compared to my 5 stars for Izzy's. #1: The ice cream melts way too fast and there's nothing protecting against it except for a small napkin. It leaks through the bottom of the cone...I like it when they put something there as a surprise and I wish it did more to prevent the leaks! #2: the lines are too long in the summer. I usually wait like 30mins to get my ice cream. You have to be very dedicated and desperate for mnicecream to get it. #3: It's expensive, and if you choose your own toppings, even if it's the same amount of toppings as the set menu items, it ends up costing more. So a more cost effective way could be to choose the menu item that has most of the things you want on it and substitute it for something else. #4: Their flavors change all the time and I sometimes crave that lemon raspberry one but can't get it. And when I go there I never know what to expect. You might get one good flavor, maybe two, or maybe none..a gamble. But follow them on instagram to see their latest flavor and their promo posts like BOGO. Anyways, it's worth to try and take friends from out of town here since the ice cream cones are so instaworthy.
