A modest selection of delicious ice cream flavors served with a classic vibe. Staff are friendly and you can sample until your heart is content. Prices are fair considering what others are charging.

Miss Iz ice cream shop offers 50s era decor, cones, and sundaes. I was drawn to this shop by the giant macaron ice cream sandwich and it was worth it. Today's flavor offerings were cotton candy or salted caramel and I tried the salted caramel, delicious! Both the macaron and ice cream, excellent combination. We also grabbed a double scoop homemade waffle cone filled with caramel collision, barking pretzel, and vanilla ice cream. The flavors are amazing and I want to try all the others in their cases. We will definitely make another trip to try the sundaes.

The City of Ramsey now has its own ice cream shop - 4 stars! The big grand opening was yesterday but I visited today. I'm thrilled that Ramsey now has its very own ice cream and soda shop! I drive by nearly every day and I've been watching the build-out for months.Miss Iz is bright and cheery with a distinct retro vibe. They have a respectable number of ice cream flavors in addition to ice cream sundaes, ice cream bars, some other ice cream specialties. They have a few gelato flavors too. Of course, you can order several sizes (and colors) of cones. If you eat in and want a cup, they give you cool old timey glassware. If you want a cup to-go, they give you a recyclable cardboard bowl. It looked like most people were getting cones.Miss Iz also has large cookies along with a big selection of craft sodas. Many of the sodas are bottled in Minnesota. Very cool! I ordered a Blue Raspberry soda from the Blue Sun Soda Shop.If this was one of the select few places that owns their own creamery and makes their own ice cream, I'd definitely be throwing these guys a 5 star review. As it stands, I'm going with a solid 4 stars for the Kemps and the Cedar Crest mass produced ice cream. (It still tastes great though.)Please support a local business and stop by. Unfortunately, they got a late start for the season. So I encourage the locals to come here to help them make it through the first winter and to help them to survive until the warm weather finally returns next spring.Thumbs up!-Maxx

I tried this incredible Ice cream shop for the very first time and let me say it was a wonderful experience. The workers are so friendly and helpful with saying their favorites as well as all the flavors they have! I had a banana split and it felt so nostalgic and delicious with all of the toppings on there! The place is so cute they have a lot of seating and a cute tucked away little seating area that is super cute with the dimmed down light and light up ice cream sign!! It feels like you are at a 1950s diner!

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The number of flavor options was impressive and in the large group we had no one was disappointed! I wish I had taken a picture of the gigantic cookie sundae as that seemed to be a huge hit. I am a sucker for Root Beer and the float with the choices of sodas means I now need to go back and try them all. The place is cozy and has a small side room for groups. We chose to take over the patio created in the parking lot, complete with umbrellas and it was perfect! This is a must when in Ramsey!

Tried it on a whim. The younger server was delightful. Had a strawberry shake to go. The shake was fine, no straw or cover - but didn't take away from the shake. A little pricey in the shake - $7.75 for a single size not too big. Wife ordered a single scoop cake cone, it was literally the smallest single scoop cone ever - it was a single scoop. One run of the ice cream scooper for $5. Very steep for what was delivered I joked what a child cone might look like. Definitely stay at Two Scoops in Anoka or truck out to White Bear Lake or Stillwater (Nelson's) for the ice cream experience. This is a hard pass.
