Miller's Market

Oh, dang, I really like this place and can't believe I haven't been there before today. I drive thru Hayward frequently and often stop for food and a little shopping, but never knew about Millers Market until now.Millers Market is a grocery store and a deli that offers fresh made to order hot and cold sandwiches. The deli staff arent afraid to make suggestions if you ask; they definitely know what is good.My husband ordered the Italian combo and really enjoyed it a lot. He was very tempted to order a hot panini so I'm pretty sure he will order it when we come back. I am gluten free and was relieved and happy to see they have a gluten free bread option for their sandwiches. It was quite good. There are so many meats, cheeses and toppings to choose from that you could come here everyday for a month and not have the same sandwich. What a treat! For dessert you can always select some of their freshly made cookies. Watch out for the Lemon Coolers, they are apparently addictive according o my husband.Lest I forget, this is a great stop for bulk items like flour, oatmeal, spices, couscous, coconut flakes, candy, nuts, and tons more. The prices make this a worthwhile stop.Overall, I recommend this as a good one stop place for your food needs when you are in Hayward, Wisconsin.

The owners are wonderful people and they seem to make a real effort to keep good staff working there. This store has a wonderful variety of foods and ingredients I can't find in other Hayward stores. They are reasonably priced as well, not price gouging. It's always clean and cheerful in their store and I have recommended it to many others. Try the Stromboli. It's incredible!

We just popped in to nose around, picked up some cinnamon buns that were still hot! Delicious. As we poked around, we noticed ground beef in the freezer that was less than ground beef at the Walmart. Take note...There was a ton of action at the sandwich area of this small business. Also smelled fantastic, warm and cold sandwiches are I think a good part of the business here. They have fresh lunchmeat, and a selection of bulk spices and candies and various dry foods.

I did not get any pictures because I was not feeling well. We were here 3 times. The first time we were looking for a special dessert for our dinner. They had jelly rolls frozen and some cookies but not what we were looking for. I was actually in the store but not really with it so neglected to take pictures. We did buy a 2 pack of chocolate chip cookies which I liked a lot. The last two times we were here I stayed in the car. When my husband was here prior he had his eye on a Turkey, bacon, cranberry sandwich so he purchased one along with a Ruben, both hot sandwiches. He also got a dozen of the chocolate chip cookies-$6.99-pretty cheap.This market has a large selection of meats and cheeses, a couple of soups of the day, a lot of bulk items for all your baking needs, noodles, rices etc.The third time we stopped off on our way out of town, to have a sandwich for lunch while on the road. We got to the market about 6 minutes before their 10:00 am opening. There were about 5 vehicles waiting and once the door opened and we got out merchandise there at least 8 other cars parked. Another Turkey, bacon and cranberry and a Turkey pesto. A 2-pack of chocolate chip cookies as we left what was left of the 12 pack with our guests, and a 2 pack peanut butter. Everything we have tried so far has been delicious.Nice to k ow this place is here as you could always stop and grab for an impromptu picnic or, like we did, for the 5 hr drive home.

We went to this deli hoping to get some sandwiches for lunch, but there were zero vegetarian options on the menu. The counter person said "well, you can just leave the meat off", but who wants to pay for meat they're not even getting? I saw that hummus was an option to add to a sandwich for .75 cents, so they could easily get a bit more creative and offer some nice meatless options. Lots of folks don't want to eat meat these days, not just vegetarians. They did offer to make a hot sandwich without the meat, but said it would be a wait, and after seeing the foil-wrapped sandwiches like you might see at a gas station, we decided to go elsewhere.

met. Loved this place. Went to the deli for two days when we were staying in Downtown Hayward. Friendly staff nice fresh ingredients - even paninis. Great place for sandwiches.

This place feels like a small Whole Foods (which I only go to maybe once every few years) in that it has higher quality products than your standard grocery store (Marketplace). I came for the sandwiches based on recommendations from a few other lumberjack affiliates. They are hot and ready to go, very well priced, and there's a good selection. Oh, and tasty of course. After discovering those, I'm never doing Subway for lunch again. Also a much better deal than the LWC vendors. Good selection of snacks too, and you can also do custom cold or hot sandwiches.

Hot turkey cranberry sandwich. Hot turkey bacon ranch sandwich. Molasses cookies. Peanut butter cookies. Chocolate chip cookie. Chicken wild rice soup. Amish kettle corn microwave popcorn. Deli counter ordered salami slices and honey roasted turkey breast. Come here ALL THE TIME!It is one of the best places in Hayward!
