Quintessential American diner food cooked with care & skill, and served by warm, friendly people. Lots of menu choices, very reasonably priced. I chose the patty melt which was made perfectly with plenty of fried onions. The cole slaw reminded me of my great aunt's- fresh, crisp, just a little sweet and creamy. A couple of my friends got the sausage & biscuit special which looked amazing. Service was fast , especially considering we were a rather large group. This is about halfway between the Twin Cities and Duluth, a great place to stop if you are travelling on I 35. It would also be a top choice for kids because of all the menu options and helpful staff.

Fantastic food, great service! We have been here a few times and loved everything we have tried. The bacon is worth the price of admission!

This restaurant has a good rating because of the friendly staff extensive food menu if you cannot find something on their menu you are not hungry. The prices are reasonable and they always have specials that are excellent but I want to know that you need to bring cash or your checkbook for they do not take credit cards

The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. The parking is a bit of a pain but the food and atmosphere are worth the hassle.

This place is exactly what you would expect in a smaller town. Great food, friendly service and good prices.my blt and fries was nore than i could finish and my husbands steak and eggs was amazing. We will be back next time we head north

Great food, great service and fun, local atmosphere at low prices. A really enjoyable lunch. They also serve breakfast all day. The ground round (basically a giant ground beef patty with grilled onions) was a retro feast. The chicken was crispy and delicious. Drive a few minutes past the chain restaurants and eat at family-owned local restaurants like Nicoll's. So much better. Planning my next meal.

Pretty average diner. The chicken drummies were kinda salty but satisfied my craving for fried chicken. Hubs chicken sand was not fantastic but solid. The waitress was an absolute gem!

Cute little gem in a small town on our to Duluth. Soup sandwiches and French fries. Home cooked food for cheap prices. Cathy our waitress was kind friendly and attentive. Cash only-with stopping at the ATM.
