MGM Wine & Spirits

This store is great. They have a wide variety of beer, wine and alcohol. They event carry a large selection of Minnesota wines. Pricing is good and they typically have great sale prices! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Convenient parking lot and stop on your way through. No public restrooms.

I'm a scotch guy (single malt, neat, in a Glencairn) so when I first moved to Saint Peter I checked out the local MGM and found all the standard stuff but not much in the way of special or fancy. Their selection is still better than any other booze shop in town, and the MGM managers here and the Mankato location have been awesome by agreeing to bring in pretty much anything on my wishlist so long as they can get it from a distributor. MGM's prices are a bit higher than if I were to go up to the cities, but I don't mind paying a bit more for the convenience and to support local business.

I've just had the worst experience at this St. Peter MGM. I've been a long time customer for all my liquor needs and went in today and had a horrible experience with Kim, the wine manager. Not only was she extremely rude and condescending but incredibly ignorant to what she claimed to be as her specialty. She refused to sell me wine by the case, and therefore I will take all of my business, my families, and my large group of friends business to anywhere other than MGM
