Menards has some things that Home Depot doesn't have and that is what brings us in. Their paint storage containers are wonderful.Most of their lighting is Patriot Brand and it is of very poor quality. They also carry many other subpar brands in other products.I appreciate their holiday Christmas tree display as my brother, who is special needs, loves to walk through it often.They also have great red mulch, regular and rubber. The regular red mulch is a brighter color than other stores.Staff are helpful.

Based on the reviews, I may be one of the only customers that likes Menards. Spouse wanted coca cola. They only carry Pepsi, Shasta Cola and Specter products. Found Dots Cinnomin pretzels here. Yum. Main purpose was to get pellets for the Traeger. Started to online shop then I saw a $4 something order processing fee, before sales tax. I hate excess fees and drove over myself. I found 20# Bear Mountain Pecan and Fruitwood for $9. The 40# size was on sale for $14.96 Competition Blend. You bag your own stuff here. I was offered assistance with pellets to my car but declined. This store is fairly newer. I will keep Menards on my radar when I need pellets again.Review 3 of 2023.

I placed a large order, couldn't pick it up so I called to cancel. It was never refunded. Store manager Stacy (person before her said its wasn't even the first time this happened today) said only store credit and I still have to pay the interest. Then said if I wanted to try get a refund to go online. I did, they responded that the order had already been picked up so no refund. I wrote a review on Google and they told me to contact Stacy. The person who told me to go online. She responded saying no refund. This is called theft.

Menards To whom it may concern, We purchased a refrigerator from menards the 11/21 and had menards delivery service bring it to the house along with taking it inside. The delivery man left a deep scratch on my brand new flooring from the front door to the placement of the refrigerator a total of 18+ feet. We contacted the Apple Valley, Minnesota store and they said " it's not on them but to contact Mazins service LLC the delivery company. That there nothing they can do." So continue down the line and made phone calls to a Mahmoud Ramadan sent pictures, sent emails on the 24th of November , he didn't respond to us so we contacted the insurance company North suburban agencies Karen Wrobel who made a claim and then passed it on to Andrew Kociemba with auto-owner s insurance . It's the 14th of December almost 3weeks later and still no one can give us an answer. We had a flooring company come out to do an estimate of the damage, I sent it into the delivery service insurance and still no answer. We Have spent over $70,000 at menards these past few months remodeling our house. We've go out cabinets, lights, windows, doors, a full kitchen remodel with appliances, materials to build new walls, two full bathroom remodels and the brand new flooring all from menards. It's very frustrating to have the owner of the delivery company say yes there was damage and then do nothing about it. At the bottom of Menards website it's quotes" We're happy to help - We're Dedicated to Service & Quality" I would like someone from this company to prove that statement right! We need someone to get back to us so the flooring damages can get fixed!

I sent my 20 year old son to Menards to get 5 specific things. I told him to ask for help because I knew he would not know where everything would be and actually neither would I. Home Depot is the best at showing you where things are! Anyway, he asked one guy and showed him the 5 item list and the Menard's employee said, "Not sure, I'll be right back." and he never came back! He asked someone else and he said he wasn't sure and tried to find things and only found two! I ordered everything from Amazon and will get all but one tomorrow. Shopping local is not easy!!! Amazon is easy!!! I try!! So annoyed!! On my list was Woolite, capture carpet cleaner, bissel carpet cleaner, microfiber towels, vinyl window cleaner. MyOrder fulfilled with Amazon and probably cheaper!

I have been buying seeds at Menards for years. I do love the paint dept and always find what I am looking for. I like the hardware items, plumbing and electrical. I have been buying Burpee seed starting mix and Burpee potting mix here for years and love these two products. This year neither are being sold here. There seems to be a Menards brand in their place. I have been buying the Master Garden Potting Mix 2 Cu Feet bags. Last year the Apple Valley store had many of these bags with holes and leaking bags. Some taped up but still spilling out. This year in the past 3 weeks I have been 3 times to not find any at all. I travelled to Richfield and their store had 1 and a 1/2 pallets. Then 5 days later went to the Savage store they had 2 and a 1/2 pallets. On a whim dropped by the Apple Valley store and still none there. Very disappointed.

They are holding our refund money hostage for a product we never received. March 5, 2022, we bought an Amana Refrigerator ASI2575GRS (Order #APVL30045833) from Menards in Apple Valley Minnesota. We opted to have the refrigerator delivered by Whirlpool (order # 0732914850). The estimated delivery date was April 29, 2022 April 28, 2022, we received an email that stated that the estimated delivery date was changed to June 22, 2022. On June 1, 2022, we called Whirlpool (1-866-931-5743) to verify if delivery would be happen on June 22, 2022. They explained that the estimated delivery time was changed to August 2, 2022. On July 24, 2022, we received an email from Whirlpool stating that the estimated delivery date was changed to August 2, 2022. On July 31, 2022, we received an email from Whirlpool stating that the estimated delivery date was changed to August 5, 2022. On August 1, 2022, we received an email from Whirlpool subject line for the email stated "Action Needed- Please Schedule your Whirlpool Delivery -for order # 0732914850." On August 1, 2022, we followed the prompts to schedule delivery. We selected the date of August 19, 2022 in the time window between 2-6pm. On August 19, 2022, we prepared for the delivery as stated in the August 1, 2022 email which included the following link: https://homedelivery.whirlpoolcorp.com/deliveryandinstalpolicy.html On August 19, 2022 we called Whirlpool to confirm the delivery time. Whirlpool said they do not have us on the calendar for delivery. There was nothing in database regarding a delivery date, and the refrigerator is still not in stock. On August 22, 2022, we called Menards in Apply Valley to cancel our order. Menards stated that since we purchased the refrigerator more than 3 months ago, the best they could do was give us store credit for the refrigerator. They would not be able to refund our money. We explained that we do not wish to receive store credit. We wanted our money back since we never received the product. Menards said they could make an exception; they could fill out the needed paperwork to have the Menards Corporate office process a refund check. They explained that this process is lengthy, and could take a very long time to get our money back. And it was explained to us that there was no way for us to contact the corporate office, since that number is not given to the public. We were also told that, we would need to bring in the original receipt into the Apply Valley Menards in order for them to process the paperwork. On August 31, 2022, we stopped by Menards with our original receipt. The front desk made copies, and said Mike the front end manager would be in tomorrow, and he would process the request for a refund check to corporate. On September 7, 2022, we called the front end Manager Mike at the Apply Valley Menards to verify if the request was received by corporate. At that time he said the request was approved, and now we just need to wait for the check to be mailed. On September 28, 2022, we called Mike to check on the status of our reimbursement check. Mike explained that the corporate office requested more information from Whirlpool, and corporate has not received that information from Whirlpool. Mike explained that corporate sent another email to Whirlpool today. Corporate will need to wait for Whirlpool to respond with more information before they can start the review process all over again. This is so frustrating I just want to cry.

Asked where Flex Tape would be and all the guy said was I don't know. No military discount. Advertising 11% rebate, but, you have to it in. Menards actually makes Lowe's look good.
