McDonald's Meats

Definitely add this stop to your list! They renovated and the place is amazing! My bf's family has come here every year on their annual cabin trip. I highly recommend getting an assortment and supporting this local business.

Best meat in the state of MN! We used to live near their shop and didn't know we were taking it for granted! :) We've been making a point to make the drive and get our favorite fresh cut meats. Having cut sugar from our diet, it was refreshing to find a special recipe jerky that is grass fed, no sugar, not even nitrites or nitrates! It delicious!!! Thanks for thinking outside the box Jenny. Well look forward to more of your healthy creations.

Very good sausages. Beef and other kinds jerky. Excellent service. High quality meats. Love this place.

We stop here every year on our way up to our lake cabin. All time favorite meat market. My favorite are the unique flavored wild rice brats/sausage. They have so much to offer here. This place also has porketta which I have never seen anywhere else. They always have so much staff and they are all friendly and knowledgeable, very helpful. If your lucky some weekends they have a bbq happening outside to get some lunch while you stop.

As a true southerner I enjoy quality meats and some of the stranger cuts so would consider unique or unnatural. All can be found here, started off buying a Bison sirloin then elk burgers. Maple sticks and head cheese soon went into my arms already overloaded with the frozen meats. Lastly I bought some cheese curds that Ive grown quite fond of of over the years. Oh forgot to mention they have pizza brats !

We get our venison processed here and it is by far the best venison we've had. The local meats in the store are amazing as well. You pay for what you get and this place is complete quality! The turn around time for processing is great as well!

Amazing sausages. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often but always stop on my way up north.

Everything we have ever purchased has been stellar (even the dog bones). McDonald's Meats has the best summer sausage I've ever eaten and their roasting chickens are second to none. I do so miss them since we've moved away.

I was not impressed. The jerky didn't have a lot taste. Jerry was tough too. I guess I got spoiled by Scmidt's meat market in Nicollet

We purchase meat here all the time. Great quality and price.Today we wanted to try smoking ribs so we swung in to pick some up. My husband asked a couple questions about smoking them. The butcher took his time and walked us through how to do it. He took time to show us the dry rubs and bbq sauces and what pellets we should use. He also took my husband in the back to show him how to prepare the meat. It's so nice to get this quality of customer experience as it is just not the norm any longer. 10/10, would absolutely recommend! Thanks again!
