Marias Mexican Restaurant

Oh my gosh!!!' Where to start!!! Seriously this was the BEST Mexican food I've had since moving to Minnesota from California. No one else seems to get it right. Everything was so fresh! I ordered asada street tacos and just perfection. The tortillas were freshly made, and so good! The asada was seasoned perfectly and the salsa was the added compliment to the rest! I am not sure how better to describe it! So so good. Service was good. The ambiance was good, I would say parking can be a challenge ... but I would park down several blocks and walk just to eat here!!!

Maria's is what it is. An ok Mexican restaurant with good food and decent service. The kitchen needs to work on getting a tables food out at the same time. One entree arrived at least 5 minutes before the other. The restaurant is clean but its decor is dated.

Authentic Mexican food. Basic decor, but welcoming and friendly. If you like margaritas, this is your place! Expansive menu with something for everyone. The Steak Maria is a favorite. Traditional foods, traditional flavors. Food is fresh and hot. Friendly staff. I eat at the Glencoe location, there are other locations that may be the same, better or worse. I can't vouch for the others. If you love true Mexican food- not Americanized Mexican or Tex-Mex- you will love this.

Holy burritos! I literally got a platter sized burrito here! It was dang good too. There was chicken and shrimp, rice, pico and lettuce, and smothered in cheese sauce. Not anything a cardiologist would recommend, but hey, I'm not a cardiologist. My fiance got a quesadilla that he said was the best in town, and he loved that he could get fries with it, since he's a bit of a potato nut (also comes with guac salad if you rather.) Only issue was the service. They seemed to have enough servers, as there was at least 4 there, but we had to flag someone down to get one refill on our drinks as well as flagging them down for a box for my giant burrito. Would've been nice to have a check in once in awhile.

We had driven over 40 miles to Glencoe to buy Xmas tamales at the Mexican Grocery store on 11th Street, and we turned the corner and saw Maria's Restaurant, and we were hungry. So we went in, he ordered the Giant 'Chuy' Steak Burrito ($13.49) and loved it, covered with creamy cheesy sauce, would probably feed 2 people. I got 3 Street tacos ($14) with 'lengua', which is beef tongue , my favorite. Super yummy, served neat and lean, just perfect. Oh, tortilla chips and salsa were served too.The staff was very pleasant and attentive, we happened to be the only customers there when we entered. Our server was Monica, she was a joy, and provided top-notch service. All in all, we were delighted with our lunch.P.S. dining area is pretty, and bathroom was clean.

I love Mexican food, and this was sooo good. Good food, friendly employees, and clean restaurant. We will be back for more.

The waitress was not the friendliest person. The food was okay but not good or great. There wasn't anything that drew me back to wanting to return. The staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience.

This place made me sick, Food is from days ago re-heated i'm sure. People don't know what real authentic mexican food is, and just turn to this place and think its the best, but nah it ain't.

I just ate there, food was hot and fresh right away the staff is so friendly
