Marias Mexican Resaurant

Absolutely love Maria's! I could drink the white cheese sauce with a straw, my husband always gets the taco Americano, it may sound simple but it is worth trying (so,so,good) the burrito are massive and are served smothered in the cheese sauce. I like the taquitos meal and a pork burrito ( I can't remember the name). The staff are wonderful and very friendly

The food is always amazing and authentic. The quesabirria with the consume has my heart. Maria's has easily become one of our go tos for dinner or a night out with the hubby for a margarita or 2. I rave about it a little too much to my friends and family!

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. Incredible service, ambience everything about this place is fantastic.

We had a work function in Cokato MN which is the boonies for city dwellers. Since I didn't want to coon for our whole team the entire training I looked for options close to where we were.Who would have known in Howard Lake there would be a Mexican restaurant worthy of California standards. Maria's is a family owned place and had a variety of authentic dishes and meat choices that represent the best of Mexico. I had a mostly gringo group so they went with California burritos and steak quesadillas but a few ventured out and tried some of the delicacy meats.The staff was amazing, the owners son really cool and if I find myself back here anytime soon I will be back!

Excellent pork burrito and steak fajitas. Everything was perfectly cooked and fresh. Loved the fluffy Spanish rice and retried beans. Corn tortillas tasted like they were just made in house. Delicious!

The food was good. It was busy so the service was a little slow but completely understandable. Great small town place! Will be going again!

Living out in the country can have its drawbacks. However, when you have excellent food so close to home, it makes life much more manageable! Between their enchiladas rancheros and California burrito, you will leave feeling beyond full. It's also great to support such a friendly local eatery! Come on out and give it a whirl!

This restaurant is great. The food is fresh and authentic! Service is impeccable! And the decor is contemporary. It seems they keep the commons areas quite clean. The bathrooms could use a little help. But I don't know of anyone that eats in the bathroom!

Excellent food, steak street tacos are the best, the California burrito wa to die for! The basic chips and salsa was extra flavorful, a notch up from lost! I had a lime Margarita on the rocks which is equal to the best I have had, a nice night out! Our waitress was great!

Given how rural this location is, the food is quite good. I have not dined in, but have had take out from this location many times since 2020. Within this broader area, it's one of the best restaurant options.
