This restaurant seems rundown and tired, in desperate need of a rehab. It seemed dark at times and the whole back half of the restaurant was empty during the dinner hour. It felt like a food court version of Margaritaville. The TVs in the bar and the patio weren't on even though it was night one of the World Series.Southwest chicken salad was fresh and yummy, the rest felt disappointingly standard. My margarita was really weak and watered down. Not worth the $100+ tab for our family of 4...and we didn't even hear Margaritaville once.

Pro: Cocktails were good, strong and nice portions. Cons: Restaurant was dead at lunch time. Hostess was lifeless and didn't seem to want to be there. Not a place for healthy eating and today was a cheat meal. Wouldn't order this dish again (coconut shrimp) the shrimp felt gummy as the texture inside was off. Disappointed as this is not Margaritaville experience we are used to having.

A big fan of Margaritaville we sat at the bar and planned to order food and deinks. We were disappointed that we could not order a pitcher of Margaritas but got over it quickly. Placed orders for the perfect margarita and we're not disappointed. We ordered lava lava shrimp, Chicken egg roll, Cajun pasta shrimp main dish and shared them all. Love the decoration. The restrooms were cleaned. The area was decorated, clean established and staff super friendly.

This is a place that every Jimmy Buffet fan will appreciate. His music plays through the restaurant and there are nods to him throughout the restaurant and menu.The food took a bit to come out but the drinks and server made up for it. The food wasn't particularly special but it was good. This place is a decent choice if you're looking for a place to eat at Mall of America.

Went to Margaritaville with a friend of mine on a Monday around 1:30pm. The restaurant was mostly empty but we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. I assume this was because there was not enough staff to handle more tables so it wasn't really a problem. Once we were seated we got waters right away though my friends pina collada took longer than our food to arrive. It was fine. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and the appetizer platter. I really liked my quesadilla aside from the chicken inside. I took one bite of the chicken and had to pick it out- it was mostly dark meat which I don't like. It was a terrible texture. My friend enjoyed her appetizer platter though!Like other Margaritavilles they had a volcano warning at some point during our meal but... they don't have a volcano at this location so the ambiance was a little weird. Still kinda fun. I'd probably not go again but it wasn't the worst place I've eaten at MoA.

My family went on Saturday. We were seated right away as it was after the lunch rush. We had a fabulous waiter, sadly I forget his name. but he was kind, not sales polite but kind. He was very attentive. Food was wonderful! Another wait stand member came over to talk to the baby. We will be back. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience before seeing Santa.
