Mama G's

Mama G's is a classic dive bar in Maple Grove. Great bar food, and friendly people! Nicole is the best server + bartender - pours my drink before I have to ask with a smile :) Meat raffle is always a good time. Good vibes all around

Great environment in the summer when the tiki bar is open and they have beach volleyball going on. Their brunch is pretty good, and great service as long as it's not busy.

Great place to go to watch a game, play some darts, or get some quick and tasty bar food.

The service at Mama G's is horrible! We sat at an outside booth for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come over and acknowledge us. When that didn't happen we went inside and sat and still nobody for another 10 minutes. No acknowledgment. We left and went to Chantaclear. We were served immediately there-thank god! Mama G's needs some serious help!! There bartenders are even epically slow! Don't waste your time here, you will just go home frustrated and hungry!

Visited this evening for the very first time. I will say that I could tell it was short staffed. Employee behind bar was the first to appraise, asking if we were having food to bring ketchup and napkins over. About 5 mins after that a server came and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered and employee behind bar brought them fairly quick. I noticed our waitress serving, attending and rushing by our booth and the three in front of us multiple times. A good 10 minutes went by with her not coming back ( sympathetic we grabbed popcorn to eat while waited for her to come back) . During this time I had a view of the booths in front of me which she was regularly attending. Another 5 mins a couple sat down next to us at a high top. They were immediately greeted by our waitress she took their food and drink order . She easily could have turned around and took our order. She walked away. A few minutes go by and the high table next to us is brought their drinks and then food. Our drinks are completely empty. The waitress never acknowledges our table. I'd say about 20 mins from the time our drinks were brought to us and empty the waitress finally comes and says "want to pit food in" . At that time we say, I think we'll pass because it's been such a long wait and we don't have much time . The waitress replies " well I'm the only waitress here tonight " , very snotty. If that was the case the person behind the bar bringing food out should have helped her more. It also didn't excuse the fact I had a clear view of her attending to the other booths in front and beside us just fine. I can side with the on the fact she may have been having a bad day , but her attitude as a waitress was so unacceptable. New residents to Maple Grove, first time here and won't be back. I'm sure regulars are treated well here. If you're not I highly recommend Paules in Maple Grove or lfor much better service!

Not somewhere that will knock your socks off, but they do a good job with all things Thai sweet chili including their wraps and pizza.Tons of outdoor space, but just an underwhelming menu. You know what your getting yourself into here and there isn't anything wrong with that under the right circumstances.

A hidden gem!! We passed this spot a few times. Never thought about going there. One night, this was one of the only places open. My husband suggested getting take out from here. Best decision ever!! This is now out favorite place for burgers! Our favorite burger is the PB&J. The dry rub wings yummy!! If you order the waffle fries, make sure to get the seasoned sour cream. If you've considered eating here, wait no longer. Do it!!

Food is decent staff is friendly fun atmosphere fans can't wait to use the outdoor space this summer!
