I was in the mood for comfort food and the Reuben was calling to me! I love a good Reuben and have enjoyed and reviewed many on here. I appreciate the perfect meat:cheese:kraut ratio which this one had, although presented unlike any other. Instead of the cheese and sauerkraut on top of the pastrami, the meat was shredded and layered with kraut and cheese throughout. Every bite was a delight, packed with flavor. The grilled marble rye was fresh and delicious. Along the comfort food line, I chose Tots as my side. They were typical tater tots although slightly undercooked. They crisped right up in my air fryer. In a last gasp for a bit of healthy food, I had a small side salad with added cucumber, tomatoes, croutons, red onions. Honestly, I wish the cucumber were chopped instead of three thick slices. And I realized if I hadn't added those veggies I would have gotten just chopped romaine. So make sure you add the veg! It doesn't cost anything. I can't comment on their dressings because I prefer to use my own. I'll definitely be back for that fat, juicy Reuben!

Mainstreet Bar & Grill on Hopkins Mainstreet has friendly bartenders and great food. The to-go Cobb Salad was delicious! Home-made bleu cheese dressing, crisp, fresh dark lettuce, a good amount of flavorful chicken. I wish Mainstreet continued success.

What is usually a really great night at Mainstreet was ruined because of a bouncer that was power hungry. He screamed in patron's faces. Even asking a patron if they wanted to fight when that person was literally just minding their own business. We left after watching him scream at the bartenders and a server for things that weren't their fault. Other bouncers were far more professional and I have nothing but positive things to say about the other staff members. I would go back to Mainstreet for the live bands, darts, or to watch a sports game. But if I were to see that specific bouncer working I'd immediately turn around and find somewhere else to go.

Always love visiting this local place on Mainstreet in Hopkins,MN (hence the name). A great atmosphere with good food and service. Also a ton of TVs and large projector for watching big games and a stage for live music! We frequent this place and always have a good time. This visit was simple and we ordered just a cheese pizza. I've always thought, and still say, this is one of my favorite bar pies. They recently changed it and it looks more like a flatbread now instead of the 12" round but still a great crust, delicious sauce, and fantastic cheese blend. My only negative is that although I noticed they recently updated their website, the prices and Happy Hour routinely do not match. Happy Hour listed (at the time of this post) shows appetizers ranging from $6-$8 but we got there and the server said it was simply $3 off apps which was a bummer. Other pics include the many times we've been there for brunch and bloodies!!Still love this place and will continue to go here. Hope you enjoy as well!!

Such a nice, clean bar with charm & character! However...the menu has been significantly reduced (I get it, times are tough for all bars/restaurants). But the items we ordered off the smaller menu were so disappointing. They used to have such good food! Please bring that back!

This place was terrible this past weekend. I've encountered better bathrooms and overall atmosphere at highway rest stops. The ONLY saving grace were some of the waitstaff -- especially Sean who was friendly, professional, and clearly great at his job. He deserves to work someplace better. The female owner with the blonde dreadlocks was rude, sarcastic, and nasty... and we are Massholes so if WE think that, I cannot imagine why any of the Minnesota-nice clientele patronize this place. And this is treatment for people who spent close to $200 with our party. How are they still in business??At close we were chatting with the band while they were breaking down. We were SCREAMED at by two of the powertrippy bouncers saying "Get the F*** out!" at the top of their lungs. Then the same bouncers got into the face of one of the fill-in band members when all he was doing was offering to help the band load out. We have been to many, many venues to follow one our favorite bands - Maiden Dixie - and this is by FAR the worst place we have ever traveled to see them.

I stopped in this afternoon for lunch and hadthe Reuben, which turned out to be one of the better ones I've had in the cities. I sat at the bar, and the bartender Hannah was warm, engaging, and attentive. Mainstreet has a fun vibe and l look forward to going back with friends to check out live music or their open mic night.

First I want to mention I come gere at least once a month. never had bad service but yesterdays service was the worst. We sat for 25 minutes before we even found a waitress to help us. We got our drinks and placed order. I could see our order was sitting there for at least 25 minutes. They say that our order was wiped from the system. So in total it was 1 hour before we sat down before getting our meal. Needless to say everything was cold by the time it was served. We just ate as we were so hungry. . They apologized but did not even consider a discount with the bad service we received. I love this place but after yesterday I may consider going elsewhere.
