Main Street Tacos

Wow. 5 of us stopped in for a quick lunch. Tacos. Burritos. Everything we ordered hit. So fresh. Tasty. Good portions. Felt homemade like my friends Mexican grandma used to make us. Very accommodating to changes. Bathroom was clean. People who work are nice, and friendly and checked on the food at our table. This is how you do food. Great job MST!

Great place to go and try their tacos with all the fixings. I'm more of a fan of chicken as a filling and tacos and I like a lot of spice if there's not a lot of spice I like there to be a lot of flavor and flare of other things like minty lemon things or limey salty things. You're able to get both the flavor and flare in the style that you want as well as spice if you needed great place to get a good taco.

I'm kicking myself that I had not stopped by here sooner. Just really great, authentic food.Had tacos, but what stole the show was the tamales.

I go every year. The pastor tacos are really good, and the fruit waters are perfection. The strawberry and pineapple is my favorite. Be sure to get the hot sauces to go with it, and you won't be disappointed. The staff is always really nice and the service is quick.

Great tasting food. I am here for the second day in a row. I ordered the same "3 tacos combo" vegetarian option. I think the second day tasted even better. All flavors are on point.

I never went into the restaurant, our group sat outside at the outdoor seating. It was pretty cool to see the owner of the restaurant we visited last night drive by and wave to us. Shout out to Hayward, WI!Loved the scripture right on their printed menus. Now, the cost per item may have been visible inside the restaurant but they are not listed in the printed menus. The service was excellent, it's a family owned place that brings a family atmosphere. The chips were on point and the salsa was so good, the right amount of kick but not spicy. Chips were flavorful and not stale, salted just right!I was going to select the tomatillo enchiladas but I went with the three taco combo. Chose chorizo, pescado and asada. I love fish but this was my first fish taco, it wasn't my thing but the rest was delish!

I've been told by numerous people that this place is good but this was my first time actually coming in. It was busy, but our food came out before we were even settled at the table. My young children had the kids tacos and had plenty of food to spare. The staff were delightful! The gentleman who brought our my food went back for the silverware we forgot. And brought two spoons for the kids and a fork for myself. You could tell he put thought & effort into even delivering silverware.They have certificates from local organizations they support and are clearly an assets to the Hayward Community. The food was exactly what I wanted. No complaints just praise! I will definitely be back and join the many who recommend this place to others!

This is THE place for Mexican food in the north woods! They are family-run and doing their best to make absolutely everything in-house and it shows.First visit - torta - they make their own bread and didn't bat an eye when I asked for something they didn't actually have on the menu. My order was a chicken torta with a little chorizo added. A little chorizo goes a long way and really elevated the dish. This is not so much a pick it up and eat it sandwich as one that you have to attack with a knife and fork initially or you'll wear it. Once you eat it down to sandwich levels, you'll be amazed at what a great sandwich they make. Vegetables were bountiful, fresh, crisp and tasty. Chicken was so tender and juicy. Chorizo was well-cooked and not greasy but incredibly flavorful. All-around great experience!Second visit - enchiladas - also a chicken dish and the same quality chicken was inside those rolled-up bits of deliciousness. Their green sauce had a LOT going on and was really yummy. The dish came with rice and beans on the side that I largely ignored. The real star of the dish was covered in sauce and every bite confirmed my decision.I'm not a Tres Leches fan but their version is not to be missed. Wow!

Grabbed 2 tacos to go. Chicken and carnitas. Chicken was good but very salty. The carnitas taco was excellent. Tender pork. Both came with cilantro and plenty of onion, I like that. Got the hot salsa, which was green. It had a little heat, not much fire but it was still good. I'd consider this chiefly a carryout, the inside seating is like a Burger King or similar. Our tacos came out of the kitchen hot and lickety split.

Service was great. Loved that there's seating outside. I was expecting the chorizo to be spicier but the street tacos were wonderful! Definitely will be back
