Mac’s Diner

Everything was 10/10!!! The vanilla Latte was perfect! Like a cup of happiness and a warm hug! the creme brûlée French toast was so flavorful and moist ! So good! Biscuits and gravy were my favorite. Light, fluffy biscuits with the sausage gravy packing flavor through and through! Service was fast, thorough, we didn't feel rushed. Welcomed us like we were regulars. Nice ambiance and atmosphere. My family and I will make this our family dining spot.

Stopped for a quick dinner at this long time institution of North St Paul. I grabbed a stool at the bar and got right into ordering. I'm still on an Old Fashioned phase so that was my drink of choice tonight. Dinner was a rodeo burger with fries. Their burgers here are smash burgers and they are so good! The rodeo had bacon, cheese, fried onions and special sauce. It was so fresh and hot when it came out of the kitchen. It came with a side of fries. Their fries are a nice meaty fry that was perfectly crispy on the outside and full of potato on the inside. Lithe bartender was friendly and helpful and very attentive. This is a great place for all ages. Nice kids menu and delish adult food and drinks. Def recommend!

While visiting family, we stopped by this local spot I hadn't tried before. Nestled in downtown North St Paul, Mac's Diner gives the traditional diner feel with new age options.We split an app and burger. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was garlicky and creamy although particularly oily. We used a couple of napkins to remove the excess oil. It's also served with grilled bread which appeared to basically be Wonder bread with a light toast and some garlic butter. The star of the show was the Mac Daddy burger. The smashed patties were flavorful and a bit crispy, and the combination of cheese, onions, pickles, and sauce were an absolute delight. The fries were meaty while also being crunchy and salty.As someone who grew up in the area, I loved seeing the personal touches. The pictures on the West wall were all local - the snowman (IYKYK), Miss Minnesota, 1960s hockey team, etc. They even have a burger for current Twins pitcher, Louie Varland, who was also brought up there.

Had an amazing latte! I ordered a sugar free vanilla and it was so hot that it stayed hot all the while I drank it. I ordered the chorizo bowl with hash browns and sourdough bread. It was delicious. Yummy breakfast menu that's available until 3 PM. Lunch and dinner menu looked good. I'll tray that my next visit. The walls have pictures of No St Paul history and the old dinette. The diner is really clean with high ceilings and lots of tvs in the bar area. Service was excellent!

Very nice stop after a long and warm bike ride. Happy hour prices on beer was a nice touch and the burgers are very good. I enjoyed the mushroom Swiss with some jalapeños on top and coleslaw on the side.

My friend and I picked up a couple salads on our lunch break. Both salads were both tasteful and very filling! I got the Southwest Salad and my friend got the Mediterranean Bowl and we both added chicken. The place looks like an old diner inside that has been upgraded but has kept its charm. I definitely will be going back!

Breakfast. Yum. Diner menu and then some at this local spot. We enjoyed some a la carte items, don't miss the cheesy hash browns! The Poutine Breakfast Bowl was a great item and fun idea - who doesn't love a good cheese curd. Outdoor seating is available. Service was fine and fast. $

We visited this place on vacation and not only the food but the staff, atmosphere, and all around experience was fantastic. I couldn't say enough about this place you must try it for yourself.

I would just like to say Thank You to the manager and waitress for helping homeless and hungry people. I WAS WATCHING YOU TUBE AND GENTLEMAN ORDER ONE BURGER AND ASKS HOW MUCH IT COSTS WELL HER REPLY WAS 15 DOLLARS (sorry for caps) so he asks if he could get 19 more she says yes of course the waitress comes back with 19 more all in a box and was curius so she asked him what they were for .He said the homeless she went off and talked to the manager he comes out and basically says that he was on a good mission and insisted the burgers were on him you can't beat a place like that I would eat there often if I could 1up for Mac's Dinner !!!!!!!!!

Their biscuits and gravy is my favorite, the place gives a very homey and local feeling
