I recently observed a negative handling of food in the deli section of this LB location. The deli staff had several large display dishes of salads and entrees on a push cart NONE of the dishes were covered. The deli staff was carrying on a conversation with another customer while standing directly over the uncovered food cart. A major food borne, contamination incident in the making.

Reminds me of an grocery store named Randall's that we had in my hometown when I was a kid. My favorite part of visiting this store was the old security monitor that looked about 30 years old. Very quaint.

If I could do negative stars I would. Prices high, attitudes horrible. Working there was just as bad. Why anyone would think just standing in the front of the store watching over as two cashiers try to handle a rush of customers without helping is beyond me. I was criticized for being too friendly to my employees. It may have been a better store back in the day, but I have my doubts. If you want a nice experience and quality along with decent prices and friendly service, this place ain't it.

My new favorite Byerly's! I always go to Byerly's for the self-serve deli and café...because it's always amazing...BUT this one is spectacular! First off, they have rice ...both white rice and fried rice in a HUGE Rice cooker! I've NEVER seen that before. Now I'm a fan of rice, so this makes me very happy! The have finely chopped veggies and fruit salad. Also the main food selection is amazing as well...going beyond the usual chicken and fish... they have those but they have a variety here. For fish they have not only Tilapia but baked salmon. For Chicken, not only fried, but baked, sautéed and barbecue! The seating area is clean and spacious too, making dining here a delight! LOVE!

I primarily shop Lunds & Byerlys but also shop at other grocery stores. I find that L&B has the freshest produce, best cuts of meat and also they ROTATE their inventory. It is so frustrating to me to purchase out of date grocery items that I encounter so often at the other grocery stores. Just this last week I stopped at another store and had to pick up several strawberry packages due to moldy fruit. I didn't note that the hummus had expired until I was home. I also love L&B for their selection of product. I am a L&B member and find many great sales/savings!

Exceptional service and their deli service is very good. They are always there to help you find exactly what you want especially if you are doing curbside, they will accommodate you thoroughly.

This store has it all! High quality, great services and prices befitting a great experience. I only shop at L&B

We've ordered several cakes from here for special occasions. For my daughter's upcoming First Communion I thought we'd be sure to get a beautiful cake for guests from here. We went with the Swedish Princess Torte. We'd had it for my daughter's baptism 8 years ago, and also for the 1st birthday. Picked it up today--the day before the first communion.1. The cross is crooked and my 8 year old could have done just as well. And she hates doing artwork.2. The fondant was the color of split pea soup. No lie. I looked back at pictures of the other two Swedish Princess tortes, and they were a nice, muted spring looking green. Here's a picture of the cake they thought was good enough for customers today.

I went to Lund's & Byerly's this morning at 10:30am. I was in the store maybe 20 minutes after selecting bakery, dairy and vegetables. I went to check out only to discover there was only self service check outs in service. Finally, a cash register opened and anyone with 50 items or more fled to that checkout. I go to Lund's and Byerly's for their service. I do not checkout my own groceries as it never goes smoothly. I noticed several Byerly's employees standing at the Customer Service desk, doing nothing. After assessing the lines in self-service and the lack of cashiers available, I left after returning the groceries I had planned to purchase to their department. A simple errand has now caused me a lot of wasted time. I stopped at their competition down the road and was able to get the service I expect from a grocery store.
