Louie's Finer Meats

A Cumberland staple for ham, bacon, burgers, brats, beef sticks, and sausage. Louie's is so popular that you will often find cars parked on the road as opposed to the parking lot. Inside you will find isles and rows packed with meats, cheeses, spices, chips, salsas, BBQ's, condiments and even breads. From frozen to deli service, you won't walk out of here empty handed. Should you order fresh cut meats behind the deli counter, be sure to grab a number. It goes quick! Closer to the checkout area there is a smaller section of veggies and what I call the naughty aisle which is all the fresh ground coffee, chocolates and caramels. Varying times there is a brat cookout happening on the exterior near the tented space should you be in a rush and want to grab something quick vs. taking home. Enjoy!

Absolutely and highly recommend checking out all of the products at Louie's. All of the meats are prepared in house this is something we don't find out in the west coast. So if your from out of town your in for an amazing experience. Some of my favorites are the cheese curds, beef sticks and sausage links and there's just so much more. Lastly everyone's super friendly and helpful just to also mention there's also an alcohol and beverage section. So if your a whiskey or a bourbon enthusiast your gonna be in for an amazing experience. Thanks so much Louie's

The best place to get your meats. Not to mention the service is excellent. The brat, sausage,bacon are the greatest. But the cheese and deli meats the beef, pork and chicken are also great.

I haven't been to Louie's in way too long. Louie's is one of my favorite butcher shops. We finally found a time to visit and arrived about 10 minutes before they were set to open. We figured go early and beat the crowds. Well when we arrived there was already a line forming. We've been to a lot of butcher shops. Louie's is the first one that we've seen a line forming before they open.Louie's has everything you could want or need. Known for their excellent and large variety of brats. But there's so much more. Fish, sticks, snacks, groceries, of course cheese, condiments, beef bacon, turkey bacon, smoked chicken, etc, etc etc. My brother in law stopped in after we were there and spent over $100 on beef ribs, ground beef and some steaks. We picked up some brats, bacon, breakfast sausage and chicken kiev. Yes chicken kiev. One of my favorite treats as a kid and Louie's makes homemade chicken kiev.They're really a one stop shop. There's a saying at a place out of Chicago, if you can't find it, it's not worth drinking. Well if you can't find what you want to eat at Louie's, it's probably not worth eating!

You have some really great offerings. I got some snack sticks and the genoa salami and some cheese. The meat counter looked amazing however I had about an hour drive home and no cooler so I couldn't buy any fresh meat.My only issue is that most of the sausages, bacon, hotdogs, I'll have added sugar either dextrose, fructose, brown sugar, maple syrup, or cane sugar. Come on man most meat does not need sugar. I'm really trying to avoid added sugar to my diet and this place made it very hard. Unfortunately many of these are classic traditional recipes and I doubt they will change their ways and make more no added sugar recipes.

Enormous selection of products to look at. I'm glad that I previously had looked at the items online. It made my shopping trip much faster. I was delighted to see pierogis in the freezer! In addition to large amounts of frozen, refrigerated, & fresh meat products, there are also desserts available. If you're driving through Cumberland, be sure to have a cooler with you!

This place is awesome!I was visiting the area with some friends and we Aries in here on our way up north. The selection was great! We grabbed some fresh bacon, sausages, beef jerky, and many other goodies. The service was quick and pleasant, and the beef jerky was incredible. I would do all my shopping here if I lived in the area. Highly recommended.

Vegetarians beware! This is NOT your store!Lots of choices for any kind of meats you may wish to buy! Fresh and frozen items!Luckily for us, Louie's had the brat wagon working it's magic on the south side of the building! They offered us fresh specialty brats (wild rice/cranberry/?cheese) for $3.50! Brat wagon had sides as well for sale (no-we didn't try any since we bought fresh local apples from the apple farm dude in the truck on the other side of the parking lot)

Such a variety of quality meat! This is a destination spot for sure. There must be 10 different varieties of Bratwurst.

Louie's is definitely worth a trip, but take a cooler ifyou are traveling. We like the frozen marinated chicken breasts. There are about 20 different varieties and you can't go wrong with any of them. They travel well and last a long time in the freezer at home. The people are very nice!
