Los Grandes Restaurant

Los Grandes Restaurant was insane! I went to Los Grandes on a Thursday evening and the parking lot and restaurant was HUGE. We did not need a reservation and were seated immediately as there were not many other customers. The menu stays in theme and is also massive. They offer a wide selection of drinks, Mexican food, seafood, and even offer sushi and oysters. I chose the fish tacos and they were great. They were loaded up with a ton of sauce and the fish was great. Two of my friends ordered the sushi bowl and also said they loved it! Around 8pm a band came out and started performing around the restaurant. I can not wait to go back.

Such a large place with beautiful interior. Everyone was very friendly. They had it decorated for Valentine's Day so there was pink and glitter everywhere.The food was incredible. Absolutely everything I had was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I will be coming back!

Los Grandes is located in Burnsville, MN. It is a very busy place, but the service is quick and the food is amazing. We had the Minnesota sushi dish to share. It's sushi with chicken, beef, and cheese. It also comes with bacon, but we opted out of that. It came with nine large sushi pieces and had a crisp fried coating. I had a chicken chimichanga. The chicken was seasoned well and the chimichanga was filling. Hubby had the combo fajitas without the shrimp. The steak was tender, juicy, and flavorful. I thought my chicken in the chimichanga was better than his chicken in his fajitas so we would opt for just steak next time, but it was still an amazing dish. Even the veggies were good. For dessert, we had the plantains with sweetened condensed milk. They were so good and cooked just right with a little bit of crunch but not overdone. The total bill was about $70 and we had lots of leftovers. It's worth it! This is the perfect place for a quick meal or a celebration. They even had a live band that started at 5 pm Saturday. The website info is in Spanish, but they have menus in English upon arrival. There are only a few places I need to go back to and this is one of them.

Visiting from Los Angeles, California and having so many Mexican seafood restaurants in LA this place was even better than the ones in LA. Had a Fried Mojarra with beans, white rice and salad and it was delicious. The fish was very crispy the way I like it. Presentation of the fish was outstanding! Had a guaraná margarita and it was the best! Service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. Keep up the awesome job you are doing. I know I will be back next time I'm in town.

This is definitely a hidden gem, I tried to make my way to this establishment because I heard it was good. Well I am very pleased that the hype was right. When we came in we were shocked because the restaurant looks smaller on the outside than it actually is on the inside. The lady that greeted out was fine, she was helpful and showed us to our table. I think 4PM is a great time to visit here if you want to avoid the rush. Lastly I want to say I will definitely return because the food was so delicious, drinks were great and the Manager Maria came out to check on us and I also love how great Merci was also. The service, the food, the ambiance, and it was reasonably priced. I'll definitely return, the menu has so many great options on it I will have to visit often to try them all.

Honestly we absolutely loved our experience at Los Grandes. Chef Torres knows his stuff! From the drinks to the delicious Ceviche Platter and the Frito Mixto and the Molcajetes, everything was fantastic!And the hospitality here was spot on! I highly recommend a stop here. It's dinner and entertainment and you have to experience it for yourself. We absolutely enjoyed our night at Los Grandes!

Well... We went back.... I can say for the final time this time. I would like to start off the review by saying the food is very authentic and tastes good, however it is VERY expensive. A 12 oz sub- par margarita was $16.99. They had live music, which consisted of a full brass band, music was also a cultural experience, but it was so loud you couldn't enjoy your dinner, we ended up switching tables 2 times to get out of the noise ally. The fact we were the only local people in there did not go unnoticed by the other guests, who constantly stared at us and gave us dirty looks. I Would say El Loro is your best bet in Burnsville to get fantastic service and great food quality. I wish this place luck..but it will be our last attempt here.

Excellent service. We went on a Friday at about 3:30. The Ceviches Cameron was delicious! Decent street tacos. And the Horchata - num!

Great place to be with friends just prepare because music banda nights are very loud. The food is good but didn't seem hot just warm. Server was very friendly.
