Lots of roll to the fairways
nothing boring here
Beautiful roar 4. Don't be scared, this was the tightest of any hole.
Number 12 tee box
Hole number 12
Opening hole, straight away

This course is definitely worth the drive to Stillwater. They've put a lot of time and money into making this a great layout. The fairways are in great shape and so are the greens. There are a number of different tee boxes so you can pick your distance on every hole. The clubhouse isn't much but if you're there to play golf, who cares? What they do have is a grill outside in the back. They have grilled burgers, brats and hot dogs. So good!

This course has everything you could ask for in a round. Lots of "shotmaking" requirements, but it also leaves options for those that don't want that challenge. Several holes give you and opportunity for stand on the driver and bust it out there. Greens were firm, fast and rolling true with a lot of subtle breaks. A few blind shots, but the pro was nice enough to give me a yardage book as it was my first time here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Grill out back with reasonably priced grill food and beverages. Some fairways littered with divots that some selfish golfers have left.... don't be that guy.

This course is one of my new favorites. If you are looking for a grand clubhouse experience, this is not your track. If you want to play a really well designed golf course that will challenge you, get here quick! Played on a Wednesday morning, there was no starter or ranger, which was my only negative because the back nine was very slow. The food shack at the turn offers great food (burgers, brats, dogs) and is very reasonably priced. Course was in absolutely beautiful shape, cannot wait to venture back over to Stillwater to play!

General Manager Tim Matsche has no idea how to treat customers. I don't think I've ever been treated as rudely at a golf course as I was today. It seems like he has some anger issues and was frankly pretty scary. I have been golfing at Loggers for several years and it's beautiful but the rounds are always 4.5 plus hours, carts are sparse. Lots of waiting around. My experience today put an end to my time at Loggers. I would recommend Deer Run or many other courses in the area for a much better experience.

The only thing keeping this a 5 star is all the people that don't fix their ball marks on the greens. Not the clubs fault, just a bunch of jackwagons that don't know how to take care after their shots. There is sand on the carts so you can put that in your divots, but a lot of people don't do that either. It is in pretty good shape after the winter that has hit so many courses hard this year. This is a pretty fair course at a great price point. Staff is friendly and beer won't cost you an arm and a leg ;-)They have reconditioned a bunch of the bunkers so the sand is pretty fair to hit out of if you land in them. I would also like to comment that someone had mentioned small greens...Not really sure what that person was smoking, but I believe overall the greens are very fair in size and roll true to break.

Nice course conditions but definitely not a $65 per player venue. Too many well maintained and excellent courses to play in this area to overpay for this one. Pace of play was good and enjoyed the round. I was a little worried that the cart not make it 18 holes, but it struggled through. May try it again on a weekday when the price is probably more realistic.

First time playing this course and it was worth the drive north. Great value, reasonable greens fees and the course is in great early summer condition. Weekend (Saturday) round was 5 hours but you have to expect that in this area for a public course. A challenging but fair test. We played the blue tees (6500+ yds) and it was a great test. Highlight is a 223 yrd par 3. (17) - into the wind almost a driver. Will be back!

when you pull into the parking lot you will be unimpressed. the clubhouse is little more than a trailer. But that's not why you come here. Real golfers come here for the amazing course! The course is challenging - more challening than most local course and is always in impeccable shape. Many of the holes, particularly on the front are so picturesque that they've been voted top holes in MN! The staff are always helpful and friendly but its the course and its tough holes and smooth greens that will keep you coming back. For real golfers, not once a month or once a year people, this is a great option. If you are looking for a fancy clubhouse and restaurant for after the round, this isn't your place.

Terrible Customer Service. Head Pro refused to get us a rain check after we decided we weren't going to play the back nine because of poor course conditions. The ground felt like concrete and there was dead spots all over the course. Very unprofessional and childish response by a "manager." Next time I'll be taking my business to nearby Stone Ridge for about 10 dollars more you get a much better golf course and friendly experience. Oh and the club house is a small shack

Booked a 10:21am tee time for a foursome. Got forced into the box and 10:10am when two of our group members weren't even there yet. They showed up and had to immediately tee off. Had the ranger come out and tell us to pick up our pace on the 4th hole because they had senior league starting soon, even though our pace was more than acceptable. We played 1st nine holes in under 2 hours. Got to 10th hole and there were 3 foursomes on the hole. I went inside to ask why they would have offered us a tee time that would end up colliding with the senior league. The employee said how I shouldn't be complaining after playing first 9 holes in 2 hours. I said that was fine, but now the back is going to be completely backed up and we would be stuck behind all the league players all afternoon. THE EMPLOYEE THEN TOLD ME HOW THE FUCK COULD I POSSIBLY KNOW THAT AND IF I CAN PREDICT THE FUTURE, TO TELL HIM THE WINNER OF THIS WEEKS FOOTBALL GAME. I TOLD HIM HIS PROFESSIONALISM WAS GREAT AND HE CONTINUED TO TO SWEAR AT ME AS I WALKED OUT. NOT SURE WHAT TYPE OF BUSINESS WOULD HIRE OR ALLOW SOMEONE TO REPRESENT THEIR BUSINESS THIS WAY. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
